Sofia Vergara did not want children
Earlier, it was reported that Manganiello and the Colombian-American actress decided to go their separate ways because of their different views on having children.
Also, in an interview, Vergara reportedly claimed, “My marriage broke up because my husband was younger; he wanted to have kids and I didn’t want to be an old mom.”

“I feel it’s not fair to the baby. I respect whoever does it, but that's not for me anymore,” the ‘Modern Family’ star, who is the mother of 32-year-old Manolo Gonzalez Vergara from a previous marriage, stated.
She further explained, “I'm almost in menopause; it’s the natural way of things," before adding, “When my son becomes a dad, let him bring the baby to me for a while and then I’ll give it back to him and go on with my life; that’s what I have to do.”

This came after in July 2023, Manganiello and Vergara issued a statement, announcing their split.
At the time, the duo, who got married in 2015, reportedly said, “We have made the difficult decision to divorce.”
“As two people that love and care for one another very much, we politely ask for respect of our privacy at this time as we navigate this new phase of our lives,” they added.

Meanwhile, Manganiello’s plan to have a baby with his new girlfriend has attracted some attention online.

Junior in HS…….. I’m counting the days till his graduation. By that time my oldest will be 29. I’ll definitely be ready for grand babies.”
Another user shared, “He's a forever unemployed gamer and now wants to be a father? Unless she has a good paying job and is able to provide the lavish lifestyle Sofia got Joe used to, they will struggle making ends meet.”
