LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Podcaster Joe Rogan on Friday, August 9, clarified his stance on whether he is endorsing Robert F Kennedy Jr or not.

The conservative comedian had to clarify his stance after he revealed support for the independent presidential candidate over Donald Trump and Vice President Kamala Harris.

Joe Rogan criticized Democrats and Republicans for misleading voters

On his podcast 'The Joe Rogan Experience', Rogan criticized Democrats and Republicans for gaslighting their supporters.

“That’s just what they do. That’s politics. They do it on the left, they do it on the right,” he said.

"They gaslight you, they manipulate you, they promote narratives, and the only one who is not doing that is Robert F Kennedy Jr,” Rogan remarked.

"The only candidate that makes sense to me,” he said of Robert F Kennedy Jr, adding, “He doesn’t attack people; he attacks actions and ideas."

Describing the independent candidate, Rogan said, "He’s much more reasonable and intelligent…He’s a legitimate guy.”

Joe Rogan says he's 'a fan' of RFK Jr

During the podcast, YouTube star Sam Gymlan asked Joe Rogan, "You a fan?", referring to Kennedy Jr.

"Yeah, I am a fan. He’s the only one that makes sense to me," replied Rogan.

"He’s much more reasonable and intelligent. I mean, the guy was an environmental lawyer and he cleaned up the East River," he added, according to OK Magazine.

Joe Rogan's stance on endorsement

After Rogan praised Kennedy Jr's way of campaigning, the podcaster further clarified it was not an endorsement.

"For the record, this isn’t an endorsement. This is me saying that I like RFK jr as a person, and I really appreciate the way he discusses things with civility and intelligence," Rogan wrote on X on Friday, August 9.

"I think we could use more of that in this world. I also think Trump raising his fist and saying “fight!” after getting shot is one of the most American fucking things of all time," he continued.

"I’m not the guy to get political information from. If you want that from a comic, go to @ComicDaveSmith. He actually knows what he’s talking about," the former television host added.

Joe Rogan thinks Kamala Harris will be the next president

Though Joe Rogan has not clarified which candidate he will be endorsing, he previously predicted on his podcast that Kamala Harris will be winning the 2024 election.

“I’m saying it because she could. I’m not saying it because I think she’s going to, and I’m not saying it because I want her to. I’m just being honest. I could see her winning," he said of the Democratic presidential nominee.
