AUSTIN, TEXAS: Joe Rogan may be the king of candid conversations, but he definitely wasn’t ready for this mentalist mind-bender.

On a recent episode of 'The Joe Rogan Experience', mentalist and former banker Oz Pearlman managed to guess Rogan’s actual ATM PIN code.

Pearlman, 43, who wowed America all the way to third place on 'America’s Got Talent' in 2015, rolled onto Rogan’s podcast and immediately got under the UFC commentator’s skin, the Daily Mail reported.

Oz Pearlman’s ATM code routine on 'The Joe Rogan Experience'

Oz Pearlman kicked things off with an innocent enough question.

“If I asked you, would your wife know your social security number... she doesn't know it... so is there any way in the world I can know your social security number?” Pearlman asked.

Then he pivoted, “I want it to be spontaneous. Would your wife know your ATM PIN code?” Rogan replied, “No.”

Pearlman asked Rogan to create a fake four-digit code, something totally random and separate from his actual PIN.

“Do not tell me your real ATM PIN code, okay... make up a fake four-digit number off the top of your head. What feels to you utterly spontaneous when I say go,” Pearlman instructed.

Rogan, going off the top of his head, said “2020.” Pearlman scribbled it down on a whiteboard and started analyzing Rogan’s fake number.

"It's weird, but statistically, men will lie bigger, women smaller. Men like lie by saying things are bigger, right? No shocker," Pearlman explained. "Right off the jump for me, that means that your first number... is smaller. That's what most people do when they're rushed."

Pearlman suggested that if Rogan had more time, he might have picked a different fake number. But Rogan snapped, saying he still would have picked “2020” no matter how long he had. But Pearlman pressed on.

“Either way, you’ll be honest if I’m right,” the mentalist said. “I got a hit, which means it’s a zero or one; I think the first number of your code’s a one. Isn’t it your real PIN code?”

“My ATM PIN code? Why would I tell you that on the air," Rogan replied, clearly annoyed.

Pearlman asked if he could show his guess privately, and Rogan agreed. “Can we acquiesce that the first number I got was correct?” Pearlman asked. Rogan confirmed, “Yes.”

That’s when Pearlman sensed Rogan’s growing discomfort. “I like the fact when people always say to me it’s fake when they watch the videos they’re like ‘You must have set it up.’ Joe doesn’t even want this to happen right now. He had no idea this was going to happen,” he quipped, trying to lighten the situation.

Joe Rogan's ATM PIN code revealed

Then Pearlman explained Rogan’s repetition of the fake number was actually a giant clue.

“You used two numbers in repeats. What that means is you probably did the same thing. You also didn’t use any of the same numbers, so I know there’s not a zero or two in it,” he said.

“I don’t think so either, and I’m watching you while I say it; you put the hand up, you might as well said yes to me out loud. So now I know, think of the second number, okay, third number, fourth number. Every time you did it, it’s a data point.”

Just to lock things in, Pearlman asked Rogan one final thing — whether the last number in his real PIN was the largest. Rogan admitted it was.

That’s when Pearlman turned the whiteboard around for the big reveal. “How’d I do, Joe? Is that your ATM PIN code?” he asked.

Rogan stared at the board and admitted, “Yeah, that’s weird. I’m skeptical because I got that PIN code in the mail... Yeah, I don’t like that.”

Pearlman cracked, “He’s calling his bank right now and being like ‘Yo, do you know this, has this guy been playing the long game?’”
