WASHINGTON, DC: Senator John Fetterman made headlines recently with his unorthodox approach during a Fox News interview. Instead of responding to host Dana Perino's questions about President Joe Biden, Fetterman shifted the focus to a right-wing initiative known as Project 2025, as per The Raw Story.

This plan aims to reshape the government if former President Donald Trump wins reelection. When Perino mentioned that former Representative Tim Ryan had suggested Biden should drop out, Fetterman was quick to dismiss Ryan's opinion.

"Well, first, let me say that I'm not sure who really gives a s**t what Tim Ryan thinks about the situation. I know that it says 'former', so he's not really a part of it in that conversation right now," Fetterman stated.

Fetterman then redirected the conversation to Trump's alleged connections to Project 2025, despite Trump's denial of any knowledge of the plan. "I think Trump is about Project 25. And why did he want to run away from that?" Fetterman questioned.

Fetterman didn't stop there. He further pressed the Fox News hosts about Project 2025. "What about Project 25? And I'm proud to stand with Joe Biden. And I'd like to remind everybody here that Biden won," he asserted.

The senator also took a jab at Fox News over their costly settlement with Dominion Voting Systems. The network had to pay $787 million after personalities accused the company of rigging the 2020 election. "And it really was very costly for Fox, you know, after they repeated a lot of the lies that Trump had after he lost," Fetterman explained.

This bold stance by Fetterman was met with a simple response from Fox News host Bill Hemmer: "Wow."

Fetterman has been one of President Biden's most vocal supporters, particularly after Biden's lackluster performance in the first presidential debate against Trump, according to Fox News.

"I refuse to join the Democratic vultures on Biden’s shoulder after the debate. No one knows more than me that a rough debate is not the sum total of the person and their record," Fetterman penned on X.

Drawing from his own experiences, Fetterman referenced his 2022 Senate race against Republican candidate Dr Mehmet Oz. Despite suffering a stroke during his campaign and facing severe criticism for his debate performance due to communication and auditory issues, Fetterman won the race, flipping a red Senate seat.

"Morning-after thermonuclear beat downs from my race from the debate and polling geniuses like 538 predicted l’d lose by 2. And what happened? The only seat to flip and won by a historic margin (+5). Chill the f*** out," he mentioned.

Since Biden's debate performance, Fetterman has consistently defended the president. When the New York Times editorial board called for Biden to drop out, Fetterman's response was an emphatic: "f*** that."
