NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: John Oliver never misses a chance to slam Donald Trump but this time he also targeted first lady Melania Trump while talking about the US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and the deportation spree on the latest episode of his show, 'Last Week Tonight'.

The comedian joked, "The White House's actual Valentine's Day tweet read 'Roses are red, violets are blue, come here illegally and we'll deport you.’ Though I guess that's exactly the kind of romance you'd expect from the house occupied by this loving couple," taking a dig at the first couple, as per the Irish Star.

Prolific Trump biographer Michael Wolff in his new book, 'All or Nothing: How Trump Recaptured America', citing a mole, revealed that Melania "f***ing hates him."

The writer also raised questions about the former model’s 18-month-long absence from public events before the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee in July 2024.

He said, as per the Irish Star, "In some sense, this is the darkest Trump hole. Nobody knows the answer to the what-about-Melania question. Not even the people closest to him. What is the nature of marriage? Nobody can tell you."

"Nobody can tell you where Melania even actually lives. It may be, on its own peculiar terms, the most successful marriage in America. Or, it may be ready to blow up at any moment," Wolff added.

Trump White House threatened deportation in Valentine's Day post

While dissing the president and his wife's relationship, John Oliver referred to a rather unusual tweet shared by the White House on the occasion of Valentine's Day.

The February 14 post featured floating heads of President Trump and his "border czar" Tom Homan with a message that read, "Roses are red, violets are blue, come here illegally, and we’ll deport you."

The post was captioned, "Happy Valentine’s Day."

He stated, "Trump’s government is clearly going to do everything in its power to act as callously as possible in the next four years," as per The Guardian.

"We’re gonna have to find ways to push back hard at the state and local level at those determined to score political points at the expense of an incredibly vulnerable population," Oliver added.
