“Nothing like throwing on a bald cap and flexing some Photoshop skills to show some love and solidarity with my bro @dcoulier,” John Stamos captioned the Instagram post.

He continued, “You’re handling this with so much strength and positivity — it’s inspiring. I know you’re going to get through this, and I’m proud to stand with you every step of the way. I love you.”

One of the photos captured Stamos humorously pretending to buzz Coulier’s hair, while another showed Stamos and Coulier’s wife, Melissa Bring, lovingly kissing Coulier’s shaved head.

Stamos called Melissa “the most wonderfulest — your true lifeline!” Melissa responded in the comments, writing, “We love you so, so much.”

Internet reacts to John Stamos' gesture

The internet reacted to John Stamos' gesture with a mix of praise and criticism. Many praised Stamos for his heartfelt support of Dave Coulier, applauding his gesture as a powerful display of friendship.

One said, "John Stamos is such an inspiration during Dave's fight with cancer. Thoughts and prayers for John during Dave's journey..."

Another added, "Oh, people - what’s more important? That he shave his head or that he’s actually there for him?"

One commented, "Sending love. Also love seeing you being so supportive to your brother xoxo."

"That's what true friendship is!" A user said.

"You're the sweetest @johnstamos and Dave you've got this more with @melissacoulier by your side. Praying for you Dave," another said.

However, some trolls criticized the act, suggesting that Stamos should shave his head for real instead of using a bald cap as a photo opportunity.

Dave Coulier, 65, revealed his cancer diagnosis on November 14, sharing that he initially mistook symptoms of an upper respiratory infection for something minor before learning it was a “very aggressive” cancer. Fortunately, it has not spread to his bone marrow, and his prognosis is hopeful with a 90% chance of curability.

Reflecting on the overwhelming support from his 'Full House' family, Coulier shared with People how he personally informed his castmates. “I didn’t want them to hear about it from someone else, so I sent a text message out. It was just this outpouring of, ‘What can we do?’” he said.

Stamos, who Coulier describes as “truly a brother,” has been by his side throughout the journey. “He told me, ‘If you want to just sleep, I’ll just sit by you. Or if you want to listen to music or just talk, whatever.’ And I’m just like, ‘Wow. That’s a brother.’”

'The Full House' cast, which has endured both on-screen and off-screen heartbreak, came together again after the loss of Bob Saget in 2022. Saget, who played Danny Tanner, died unexpectedly at 65.

Originally airing from 1987 to 1995, 'Full House' followed Danny Tanner (Saget) raising his daughters with the help of his brother-in-law Jesse (Stamos) and best friend Joey (Coulier). The show’s enduring themes of family and friendship remain evident in real life, as the cast continues to rally around each other during difficult times.
