Johnny Depp's son Jack shuns spotlight and works 'respectable' job: 'He was a good employee'

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: The secret job of Hollywood icon Johnny Depp’s son has just been revealed! Jack Depp, the 22-year-old who prefers to stay out of the spotlight, has been quietly working at a trendy restaurant in Paris, according to Daily Mail. 

Jack, whose mother is French singer and actress Vanessa Paradis, has been serving up dishes at L’Arean, a popular Lebanese spot in the vibrant Bastille neighborhood of the French capital.

Jack Depp has been working behind the bar and in the downstairs kitchen at L'Arean, where he's known for preparing a delicious mixed mezze.

The restaurant, with its exposed roof rafters and mosaic floors, is a popular spot for music and fashion industry types, as well as movie stars like Matt Damon and Matt Dillon. Social media posts have also shown Jack and his sister Lily-Rose working at the venue, with Jack mixing drinks behind the bar.

Jack spent two years working at L'Arean before leaving, but owner Edouard Chueke expects him to return next year.

Chueke shared with Daily Mail, "Jack is a great guy; he keeps out of the limelight, but worked here behind the bar and in the kitchen." 

He went on to praise Jack, saying, "He was a good employee, he left a few months ago but I expect him back later next year. Good staff are hard to find. I've been running this place for 15 years and it's very popular with the fashion and music crowd, but also film stars come here, and Jack's mum Vanessa Paradis and sister are regulars."

Chueke also praised Jack's sister Lily-Rose, adding, "Lily was mixing caipirinhas behind the bar and really getting into the swing of it, she was enjoying herself."

Jack Depp’s mother Vanessa Paradis claimed that she always tried to keep her children out of the spotlight during the children’s early ages. 

During her interview in 2007 with Weekend Knack (a Belgian magazine) Paradis said, “Now I indeed keep them away from the cameras because I don't want our children to be forced to share in our fame against their will.” 

She then claimed, “They didn't ask for that. Not yet. The day that they will decide for themselves to do things that might bring them into the spotlight, then I won't stop.”
