LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Jon Voight, the outspoken father of Angelina Jolie, has voiced his support for Elon Musk amid controversy surrounding the tech mogul's alleged "Nazi salute" at Donald Trump’s inauguration.

Jon Voight calls controversy surrounding Elon Musk's arm gesture 'false propaganda'

In a video shared on Friday, Jon Voight praised Elon Musk's character, saying, "I'm here to tell you about Elon Musk, a man of dignity, truth and honor, who has done a lot for this country and the people of the USA. He is a kind soul, a gentle giant, and he loves America."

The veteran actor then criticized the media's portrayal of the tech billionaire.

"And I want to tell you that the media is a disgrace. They're disgusting. They turn things around. They try to destroy and cause havoc. This, my friend is dangerous to compare and say that Elon Musk is Hitler," Voight noted.

"Elon Musk is being targeted for no reason and this false propaganda will stop now. There are many people who put their arms up. We the people must stand up for truth," he urged.
