Jonathan Owens being called ‘Mr Biles’ by NFL commentator after scoring touchdown sparks fan frenzy
CHICAGO, ILLINOIS: NFL star Jonathan Owens was referred to by his more famous wife, Simone Biles' name, as he scored the first touchdown of the season during the Chicago Bears vs Tennessee Titans game on Sunday, September 8, reported Page Six.
In a video shared by ESPN on Instagram, a commentator is heard saying, "Mr Biles getting in there,” as the clip showed Owens running to the end zone. "Well done by him."

While Owens is popular in the United States for playing in the NFL, his wife Biles has leaped to global stardom as the most decorated American gymnast in Olympic history, according to the US Weekly.
She recently returned to the country after bagging three gold medals and one silver from the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris.

Simone Biles and Jonathan Owens got married in April 2023 after dating for two years. Biles cheered for her husband while he played for the Green Bay Packers in 2023.

The clip was also shared by Sunday Night Football on X, with the caption, "Jonathan Owens scoop and score on the blocked punt! How ya feeling, @Simone_Biles?”
“I ALMOST HAD A HEART ATTACK," read her reply. The Bears dominated over Titans 24-17 at the end of the game.
In his turn, Owens attended the 2024 Olympics to support his wife through the competitions. He gushed over her skills during an interview, stating, "I try to remember her routines. It’ll be like random times, she’ll be on the floor (and) does something, and then she does, like, that."
He admits to having been "spoiled" watching Biles perform her routine “so many times".
