LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: On Friday, February 2, episode of 'The View', Joy Behar couldn't resist poking fun at co-host Sara Haines

As the discussion turned to the theme of the red outfits, chosen by the hosts in support of the American Heart Association's National Wear Red Day, Behar playfully noted that she found Haines' outfit a bit too festive.

Sara Haines' red and green outfit stood out to co-host Joy Behar

Haines, wearing a green crew neck sweater adorned with a large red flower on the shoulder, black slacks, and black heels, became the center of attention of the show's Friday episode. 

While pointing at the red ensembles of her other co-host, Behar slyly remarked, "Except for a certain Christmas celebration!"

Haines, in good spirits, quickly drew everyone's attention to the red flower she had worn. 

However, Sunny Hostin couldn't resist a witty remark and asked Haines if she was celebrating Saint Patrick's Day with her green top.

Joy Behar illuminates the purpose of the American Heart Association's National Wear Red Day

Behar then explained that their coordinated outfits were in support of the American Heart Association's initiative, National Wear Red Day, which aims to raise awareness about heart disease. 

'The View' co-host noted, "It shines a much-needed spotlight on heart disease, which is still the number one cause of death for women."

The banter didn't stop there, as Ana Navarro chimed in, sharing her personal connection to the cause. She discussed her involvement in the annual fashion show organized by the American Heart Association, dedicated to honoring her late mother and brother, who succumbed to cardiovascular issues.

Behar's playful teasing on 'The View' is becoming a recurring theme, as she recently targeted Alyssa Farah Griffin's attire in a previous episode.

On January 24, she humorously asked Griffin if she was serving snacks while wearing a short white collared dress with blue accents. Behar even compared it to an "airline stewardess outfit." 

Hostin quickly jumped into the banter and assured Griffin that Behar's joke was "a term of endearment."
