On May 20, Justin Bieber shared images from his wife Hailey’s Vogue shoot on Instagram along with a surprising confession about a fight from their past.
Bieber opened his caption by writing, “Yo this reminds me when Hailey and I got into a huge fight,” before revealing, “I told hails that she would never be on the cover of Vogue. Yikes I know, so mean.”

He said that the comment came from a place of resentment. “I felt so disrespected and thought I gotta get even,” wrote Justin.
Reflecting on his behavior, he added, “I think as we mature we realize that we’re not helping anything by getting even, we’re honestly just prolonging what we really want, which is intimacy and connection.”
