Justin Bieber’s mom snubs son on Father’s Day but paid sweet tribute to his wife Hailey on Mother's Day

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Father's Day lit up timelines across the world, as celebrities joined in the celebration—some honoring their fathers with heartfelt tributes, while others basking in the love, receiving heartfelt messages from their children and families in return.

However, the day ended on a very dull note for Justin Bieber, who didn’t receive any heartfelt tribute from his baby mama Hailey Bieber, or his mother Pattie Mallette, according to Perez Hilton.

On Sunday, June 15, the 50-year-old Canadian author took to her Instagram to pay a heartfelt tribute to her late ‘Papa’ on the occasion of Father’s Day.

Mallette's moving post included a slew of images of her loving step-father smiling with her and other family members, including the ‘Baby’ singer.

The famous mother expressed gratitude and praise for the type of man her "papa" was as a father in a lengthy essay that she penned for the post's caption.

“This is my first Father’s Day without Papa. A month has passed, and it still feels unreal. There’s so much I wish I could say, and more I wish he could be here for. I wasn’t his biological daughter, but I was his in every way that mattered,” she began.

“He never made me feel less. Technically, he was my stepdad — but I never liked that term. He was the dad who stepped up and into the father role in my life with both feet and an open heart. He was the only dad I’ve ever really known. And he was a good dad,” Mallette continued.

For Father's Day 2025, she made sure to honor her late "papa," but oddly, she appeared to forget about her son Justin, even though it was the singer's first Father’s Day as a dad.

The move wouldn’t be so noticeable if Mallette hadn’t gone all out to pay a touching tribute to her son's wife Hailey when it came time to celebrate Mother’s Day.

"Happy Mother’s Day Hailey, you are such a gift to our family—graceful, strong, and full of love. Watching you step so fully and beautifully into motherhood has been such a joy. I love you ❤️💕," she wrote while sharing photos of her daughter-in-law with her grandson Jack Blues Bieber.

Following a similar approach to her mother-in-law, the Rhode founder sent a shady message to her husband on his first Father's Day as a parent.

Notably, the 28-year-old model did not post a social media tribute to her husband on Sunday. Rather, she commented “Father’s Day sucks a**” under the singer's black-and-white post, where 31-year-old Justin introduced himself as "a dad that's not to be f–ked with."

The clapback came one month after her Grammy-winning partner said the same about Mother’s Day in an Instagram Note. “Good luck today for anyone navigating Mother’s Day,” the singer also quipped at that time.
