LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Justin Bieber has currently embarked on an unfollowing spree on Instagram as the singer has reportedly unfollowed his long-time friend and mentor Usher on the social media platform.

However, fans couldn't help but notice that the 'Baby' hitmaker continues to follow Sean "Diddy" Combs despite the rapper's several ongoing lawsuits but has unfollowed his family and supposed friends.

With no explanation, Justin Bieber has been unfollowing prominent individuals on Instagram, and fans and followers continue to make assumptions about his actions.

Despite unfollowing several former acquaintances, including his former manager Scooter Braun, and his mentor Usher, Bieber continues to follow Diddy on Instagram.

While some fans speculated that this could be because Diddy had a significant impact on Bieber's early career and he doesn't want to completely cut ties with him, others criticized the pop singer because Diddy has been in the news for all the wrong reasons.

Diddy was taken into custody in September 2024 on charges of trafficking and racketeering. His arrest brought back attention to Bieber's adolescent years spent with the disgraced rapper.

Fans have speculated that Bieber might be separating himself due to the ongoing discussions surrounding Diddy's alleged involvement in assault cases, including recent accusations that he threatened to eat a musician's "flesh," reported Irish Star.

Following the birth of his son Jack Blues in August 2024, Bieber has been maintaining a low profile, prioritizing fatherhood and taking care of his wife Hailey Bieber.

However, the pop artist was pulled into discussions about Diddy who was taken into custody by agents on multiple charges. The hip-hop mogul was a frequent companion of Bieber during his early adolescence.

Besides unfollowing former mentor Usher, Bieber also unfollowed songwriter-producer Poo Bear, former bodyguard Kenny Hamilton, former managers Allison Kaye and Scooter Braun, and former "swag coach" Ryan Good.

Moreover, The US Sun reported that Bieber also unfollowed his father-in-law Stephen Baldwin. Hailey also does not follow her father on social media.
