Justin Bieber’s reps set record straight about rumors claiming he’s in ‘financial distress’

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Rumors around Justin Bieber’s personal and financial life have taken over the internet once again.
But his team has stepped in to shut down recent speculation raised by a report published on April 16. The Hollywood Reporter suggested Bieber may be facing financial strain tied to real estate and lifestyle choices.
Justin Bieber’s rep slams financial distress rumors
A rep for Justin Bieber responded to the story, stating that the concerns raised were far from reality.
“Any source that is trying to sell you a story about alleged financial distress either doesn’t understand the entertainment industry or, more likely, is trying to paint an unflattering portrait of Justin, which bears no resemblance to reality," the rep said.

The publication's story also touched on growing speculation about Bieber's well-being, changes in his inner circle, and his marriage to Hailey Bieber.
Longtime collaborator Poo Bear, who co-wrote several of Bieber’s chart-topping hits, showed concern and care, telling The Hollywood Reporter, “Whatever he’s going through, I pray for him and hope he’s OK.”
Internet personality Mario Lavandeira, also known as Perez Hilton, weighed in on Bieber’s social media behavior, saying, “Justin Bieber is like a male Britney Spears: He’s trolling, partly because he wants attention, and also because he thinks he’s so funny.”

A source close to Bieber earlier told the outlet that the singer is not in any sort of crisis. “Artists are artists — they don’t look at the world the way you and I do,” said the source.
Justin Bieber ‘won’t be deterred’ by false reports, says rep
In a separate comment to E! News, Justin Bieber’s rep addressed the public speculation and reports about the singer.
“These unnecessary stories and inaccurate assumptions will continue. But, they won’t deter him from staying committed to following the right path," the source said.

The Hollywood Reporter’s feature on Bieber came just days after he publicly announced his exit from Drew House, the streetwear brand he co-founded with Ryan Good in 2018.
“I Justin Bieber am no longer involved in this brand,” the pop star wrote on Instagram on April 10.

“Drewhouse doesn’t represent me or family or life.” He also asked fans to avoid the label, stating, “If you’re rocking with me the human Justin Bieber, don’t waste your money on drewhouse.”
Justin Bieber distances himself from Drew House
In the weeks since, Justin Bieber has been actively promoting his new fashion brand, Skylrk.
On April 3, he posted an animated video on Instagram featuring a 3D version of himself burning a Drew House-branded home before walking away with Hailey and their 7-month-old son Jack Blues Bieber toward a building marked with the Skylrk logo.

Hailey Bieber has also started supporting his new fashion venture. On April 13, she posted a selfie on her Instagram Stories while wearing a leather jacket and tagged Skylrk.

She wrote, “Working on creating my favorite jacket of all time.” She also reposted Justin’s April 12 photo in the same jacket and captioned it, “Theeeee jacket.”
