WASHINGTON, DC: Democratic presidential candidate Kamala Harris has faced criticism from people as she delivered similar speeches during campaign stops in Wisconsin and Michigan.

President Joe Biden stepped down from the presidential race in July after a dismal debate performance against GOP presidential candidate Donald Trump. He endorsed Harris as the VP pick and she eventually ended up becoming the new Democratic candidate, according to Fox News.

During the Wisconsin and Michigan rallies, Kamala Harris talked about 'the path to the White House' running through either state. She also recalled her summer job at McDonald's during her college days and added that she "knows Donald Trump's type."

Harris answered questions from reporters for the first time since she was nominated during the Michigan rally on Wednesday, August 7. She talked about her unwillingness to conduct a press conference or wide-ranging interview.

She said, "I've talked to my team. I want us to get an interview scheduled before the end of the month."

Harris and Trump are set to face off in a debate slated for September 10. Trump has also agreed to two more debates, which have yet to be confirmed on Harris' end.

During the Michigan rally, Harris said, "I’m here because we believe in democracy. Everyone’s voice matters. But I am speaking now. I am speaking now."

Harris and VP pick Tim Walz talked about what they framed as middle-class backgrounds, referred to themselves as 'joyful warriors', and criticized Trump and his running mate JD Vance, for an agenda they suggested would erode personal freedoms.

Walz talked about some of his top policy positions and also outlined his stance on reproductive rights, suggesting that the government should not be in the exam room with women and their doctors. He also talked about his family’s IVF journey, which included unsuccessful treatments.

Internet calls Harris 'fake' for giving similar speeches

Several internet users took jibes at Kamala Harris as she delivered similar speeches during campaign stops in Wisconsin and Michigan.

A user wrote on X, "She's the most fake human being ever. Very cringy to even listen to," while one added, "She can't remember a new script."

A person also stated, "Hilarious harris 4.0," whereas one mentioned, "Kamala Harris dodges the press while repeating the same tired lines. What is she hiding? Leaders must be genuine, not scripted."

A user further commented, "Establishment plant with zero brain to question bad actions," while one wrote, "She has no message. She has been a failure all the way back to the Willy Brown days."

A person also said, "She reads what the writers behind the curtain tell her to read," whereas one mentioned, "At some point the utter stupidity of Harris and the ridiculousness of Walz and her campaign has to register with her supporters."
