Kanye West was eager to pose with Taylor Swift at 2025 Grammys but ‘no one wanted to help’, claims source
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Kanye West desperately wanted to have a sensational photo op with pop icon Taylor Swift at the Grammys but no one wanted to help him, a source informed The US Sun.
West and his wife Bianca Censori attended the red carpet at the 2025 Grammys on Sunday, February 2, before reports claimed that were escorted out of the event after Censori's revealing outfit left everyone shocked and appalled. But People later confirmed that they were not kicked out.
Rather, West was nominated and walked the carpet — then chose to get in his car and leave, per the outlet.
Kanye West wanted to pose with Taylor Swift at 2025 Grammys
Kanye West and Bianca Censori made quite a splash on the red carpet at the 2025 Grammys. Upon arriving on the red carpet, Censori removed her coat, revealing a sheer dress that left little to the imagination.
As if this was not enough, an insider spilled to the US Sun that the 'Donda' rapper, also known as Ye, wanted to spark more chatter by getting photographed with Swift as she arrived for the event in Los Angeles.
He reportedly asked everyone on the red carpet when the ‘Love Story’ singer was arriving.
The insider spilled, “No one wanted to help. They didn't want to create a potentially weird situation.”
The source added, “They were quizzing staff about which entrance she was coming to and how she would be getting to her seat. He wanted to try and bump into her and chat in front of the cameras.”
West wanted to "chat with Taylor and get some sympathy from the masses". However, his plan did not work and he failed to get himself clicked with Swift.
After getting photographed on the red carpet, West and Censori headed off to an after-party with Justin LaBoy in East LA.
West and Swift have one of the most talked-about feuds in the music industry. It first started in 2009, when the rapper interrupted Swift’s acceptance speech during the MTV VMAs, for which he later apologized.
But in 2016, West released the track 'Famous' with controversial lyrics involving Swift claiming he "made that b***h famous".
Swift indirectly addressed the lyrics while accepting her Grammy for Album of the Year in 2016.
She said, "As the first woman to win album of the year at the Grammys twice. I want to say to all the young women out there, there are going to be people along the way who will try to undercut your success or take credit for your accomplishments or your fame", per People.
Meanwhile, at the 67th Grammys, Swift was seen donning a smile as she cheered fellow pop superstars Sabrina Carpenter and Chappell Roan. She also gave Beyonce the award for Best Country Album for ‘Cowboy Carter’ and shared a hug.
Lip reader decodes Kanye West's remark to Bianca Censori before Grammys dress reveal
Lip reader Nicola Hickling shared her interpretation of what was said in the moments leading up to the dramatic dress reveal by Kanye West’s wife Bianca Censori, per Ladbible.
Hickling claimed that West said, "You're making a scene now," as the couple arrived and were being clicked by paparazzi. Censori, nodded in response, as they seemed to prepare to reveal the dress.
To all the people in your mentions saying “she wants to dress like this”…look at this video where she clearly tells Kanye she doesn’t want to take her coat off and he then demands that she does. #GRAMMYs https://t.co/l6voB5utyO pic.twitter.com/eQTYG1ffFZ

Hickling added that it seemed as if West encouraged his wife to make a statement, by telling her, "Make a scene, I'll say it'll make so much sense."
After Censori’s nod, Kanye reportedly told her, "Drop it behind you and then turn, I got you", and signaled her to reveal the dress as she responded, "Alright, let's go."
