Kate Beckinsale calls Britney Spears 'queen of all queens' for defending her against 'ageist remarks'
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Kate Beckinsale has responded to Britney Spears after the pop diva defended her.
Earlier, the ‘Snow Angels’ star hit back at critics for not doing ‘enough age-appropriate things” over an Instagram post.
What did Britney Spears say in Kate Beckinsale's defense?
Now, Britney Spears stood up for Beckinsale and wrote a lengthy post in the actress’ support.
"I realized how incredibly cruel people were talking about her IG saying she she needs more age appropriate content .. she's in her fifties and I thought it was pretty badass how she responded with a mini bow in her hair looking literally 4 years old 👍🏻👍🏻!!" Spears wrote of the British actress.
She added, "Not as bad as some of my comments saying it's sad that I'm as old as I am and I'm dancing every single day on my IG !!!"
Spears further voiced support for Beckinsale saying, "I know what it's like to be judged so it's a ridiculous and stupid subject initially but I think it's important to HELP EACH OTHER and invite each other to places that help our souls grow !!!"

Kate Beckinsale praises Britney Spears for supporting her
Beckinsale reacted to Spears' post by sharing it on her Instagram Stories and praised the ‘Toxic’ crooner for her message.
"Women supporting women is my favourite thing," she wrote. "Thank you @Britneyspears, warrior queen of all queens for your incredibly sweet post 🩷🩷🩷🩷 all the love right back 🩷🩷🩷🩷🌸🌸🌸🌹🌹🌹🌹🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷🤍🤍."
In her following Story, she shared a video with the caption, "What I will say is that it is almost always the women who have walked through fires that we can't fathom how hard that must be who are the ones who are first to reach out and see if another person is doing okay."
Recently Ozzy Osbourne expressed frustration over Spears' social media presence. "I’m fed up of seeing poor old Britney Spears on YouTube. She’s posting every f-cking day. It’s sad, very, very sad," he told People.

Jack Osbourne added, "Save Britney," while Kelly Osbourne said, "I feel so sorry for her." Sharon Osbourne chimed in, calling it "heartbreaking" and referring to Spears as a "poor little thing."
In response, Spears hit back and said, "...tell the Osbourne family, the most boring family known to mankind, to kindly f**k off."
