LONDON, ENGLAND: Kate Middleton posed a question to Wimbledon champion Carlos Alcaraz from her kids, Prince George and Prince Louis, in a touching moment caught on camera following the Championship final on Sunday, July 14.

The Princess of Wales, 42, was joined by her sister Pippa Middleton and daughter Princess Charlotte at the Wimbledon tennis championships on July 14 in her second public appearance of the year amid cancer treatment.

Kate Middleton refers to Prince George and Prince Louis as 'the boys'

While enjoying the girls' day out with her daughter Charlotte, Princess Kate couldn't help but think about her kids, Prince George, 10, and Prince Louis, 6 when they greeted Carlos Alcaraz of Spain in the clubhouse following his victory against Novak Djokovic of Serbia in the men's singles final.

Speaking to Carlos following his triumph, Kate acknowledged that "the boys"—her sons George and Louis, most likely—were interested in learning what the tennis player thought of his nation's football players.

"The boys want to know who your favorite Spanish footballer is?" the royal mother inquired during their brief conversation, captured in a video shared by BBC Sport on X (formerly Twitter).

"Alvaro Morata for me," Carlos replied, beaming as he clutched the trophy that Kate presented to him. "We'll have to watch out for Morata," the Princess of Wales retorted, per Daily Mail.

Carlos continued by saying he believes Yamine Lamal, a right winger, is "always good as well" at the age of 17. As she bid the tennis player farewell, Kate grinned and asked, "Enjoy his win."

The three children of the Prince and Princess of Wales have inherited their passion for sports, and Kate hinted at their mutual love of tennis during her chat with Alcaraz.

"We've watched a lot on telly, so it's great to finally get to meet you," the Princess of Wales addressed him in the Wimbledon video. She also brought him to meet Charlotte, who shook his hand and said her daughter had been "cheering him on."

Alcaraz's two Wimbledon victories, his 2022 U.S. Open victory, and his victory at the French Open this month have given him four Grand Slam trophies and a perfect major finals record.

The loss prevented Djokovic from winning a 25th Grand Slam title, which would have moved him up to equal Margaret Court's record of eight Wimbledon men's singles titles.

Entire royal family cheered England's soccer team

The question to Alcaraz most likely arose on the same day as the tennis tournament final, when Spain's soccer team was playing England in the UEFA European Championship.

In addition to winning in tennis on Sunday, Spain also triumphed in the Euros final in Berlin, which the Prince of Wales and his son George attended.

Bringing Prince George as a surprise guest, Prince William, the president of the Football Association and an avid soccer fan, watched the match in Germany.

Upon England's lone goal, the father and son affectionately exchanged a close embrace while watching the game and reacting with identical reactions, per People.

The following day, Princess Kate, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis shared a rare photo from home on social media, revealing that they had watched the soccer tournament even though they were unable to travel.

Charlotte and Louis were seen in the photo from behind while watching soccer on TV. They were wearing jerseys with their names and present ages as the numbers.

"@England, your teamwork, grit, and determination were an inspiration to all of us, young and old. Congratulations to Spain," William and Kate wrote their first initials, "W & C" below.
