Kate Middleton opens up on her cancer recovery

In the post's caption, Kate Middleton wrote, "Don’t forget to nurture all that which lies beyond the disease."

The Princess of Wales shared the message to mark the occasion of World Cancer Day with an added "C" to denote that the message was personally from her.

She also shared a second, close-up photo of frost-covered ferns with the same message overlaid, reinforcing her words of resilience and recovery.

However, the most touching element of the post was her crediting the photo to her six-year-old son, Prince Louis.

The youngest of her three children with Prince William, Prince Louis has charmed royal watchers with his playful antics at public events.

His elder siblings, Prince George, 11, and Princess Charlotte, nine, have also been by their mother’s side throughout her health battle.

The family celebrated Louis’ sixth birthday in April 2024, sharing a heartwarming photo of him taken by Middleton herself.

Kate Middleton's cancer journey

Middleton publicly announced her cancer diagnosis in March 2024 and revealed in January that she is now in remission

Expressing gratitude for the support she has received, she acknowledged the exceptional care from The Royal Marsden Hospital.

"I wanted to take the opportunity to say thank you to The Royal Marsden for looking after me so well during the past year," she wrote on X.

"My heartfelt thanks go to all those who have quietly walked alongside William and me as we have navigated everything," she added.

In September 2023, she completed her chemotherapy and shared a heartwarming video capturing a moment of tranquility with Prince William and their three children outdoors.

"As the summer comes to an end, I cannot tell you what a relief it is to have finally completed my chemotherapy treatment," she wrote on Instagram.
