Kate Middleton 'would ignore' apology from Meghan Markle and Prince Harry as she doesn't want them back
LONDON, ENGLAND: Princess of Wales Kate Middleton does not appear to be interested in mending fences with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, according to sources.
Royal analyst Duncan Larcombe revealed the specifics of the rift the future queen continues to come back to, saying, "Some of what Harry and Meghan have said, particularly about Kate, was so personal, and it's going to take years to heal the hurt because of the damage that's been done."
Kate Middleton still harboring animosity toward Meghan Markle and Prince Harry
According to reports, Kate Middleton, 42, continues to hold deep resentment toward Meghan and Prince Harry in the wake of their contentious 2021 interview with Oprah Winfrey.
It is said that the conflict between the Sussex couple and the future queen began in the months leading up to Harry and Meghan's May 2018 wedding. It was alleged that an exchange between Kate and Meghan turned their relationship sour from that point onward.
Various accounts described how the royal wives made each other weep in what is now known as the 'Princess Charlotte bridesmaid dress fiasco,' while the Duchess of Sussex told Oprah that Kate was the one who brought her to tears.
Royal expert Larcombe continued, "It's going to take more than an apology to fix the relationships," per OK! Magazine.
The Duke of Sussex also criticized his sister-in-law in his autobiography 'Spare' when he constantly drew comparisons between his wife and Kate's media exposure.
The erstwhile "Fab Four" rivalry is unlikely to ever go away, as noted by many royal observers, and which is why Kate "would ignore" a Sussex apology.
Moreover, any expectations for reconciliation have been crushed by the revelations in 'Spare,' the Netflix documentary about Harry and Meghan.
The last time the four millennial royals were spotted together was on September 19, 2022, during Queen Elizabeth II's state funeral.
Here's why Kate Middleton 'finally threw up her hands in disgust' over Prince Harry
Christopher Andersen, the author of 'The King,' recently revealed that Kate Middleton is not considering becoming a peacekeeper between Prince William and Prince Harry after overcoming cancer.
In an interview with Fox News, Andersen discussed the princess's connection with the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, stating that Kate doesn't keep an eye on them.
He said, "The idea that Kate somehow still has the time and energy to continue playing peacemaker is rubbish," before adding, "She did try over a period of years and finally threw up her hands in disgust."
"She did her bit, but it wasn’t enough to build a bridge between William and Charles on the one side and Harry on the other," Andersen noted.
Kate will reportedly devote her time to her health and her return to royal duties rather than concentrating on the royal brothers.
Regarding how William, 42, has handled the royal rift, royal expert Richard Fitzwilliams told Fox News Digital that Kate "is totally at one" with him, and for good cause.
Fitzwilliams said, "Harry portrayed her as cold and unwelcoming to [his wife] Meghan Markle in [his memoir] ‘Spare,’ when he painted an extremely damaging picture of the royal family."
"The memoir is soon to be released in paperback and his allegations will surface again, though fortunately, he will not be adding to the volume or promoting it. He knows perfectly well how damaging it has been."
After Harry and Meghan resigned from their royal duties in 2020, Harry has had a tense relationship with his family. The couple declared at the time that they decided to resign as senior royals due to the intolerable invasions and racist attitudes of the British press.
Since then, the father of two has talked about his difficult connection with his family in a documentary, his memoir, and TV appearances.
