LONDON, UK: Even future kings aren’t immune to the occasional household faux pas, as Kate Middleton recently revealed.
During a visit to a military base in Cyprus in 2018, the Duchess of Cambridge shared that Prince William has a "nightmare" habit that often irritates her, leaving items scattered around the house.

While meeting service personnel stationed away from their families during the holidays, the Duchess of Cambridge cheekily revealed her husband’s “nightmare” habit of leaving things strewn around the house.
As the couple admired a newly decorated recreational space at the base, Prince William issued a playful warning to keep the pizza off the sofas. Kate, however, quickly called him out, quipping, “You’re a nightmare with that!”—revealing that even the future king has his domestic shortcomings.
Prince William and Kate Middleton’s favorite dishes
The royal couple has made no secret of their love for takeout. In a 2017 interview with BBC Radio 1, Kate enthusiastically confirmed that they enjoy indulging in takeaway meals, especially curry. “Absolutely, and curry, definitely!” she shared.
She elaborated, saying, "It doesn't usually get ordered to the palace, we tend to go and pick it up," before adding with a touch of humor, "not ourselves," according to The Mirror.
Kate revealed that while she enjoys spicy dishes, William isn’t as fond of hot curries. In a 2020 podcast with ex-footballer Peter Crouch, William admitted, "I'm not a vindaloo guy, put it that way" but mentioned he does like chicken masala.
When it comes to choosing between their favorite cuisines, William said he faces the same dilemma as many of us, "It's a real conundrum when it comes to it. Pizza, curry, or Chinese."
In a BBC documentary, 'Football, Prince William and Our Mental Health,' William humorously revealed his love for Nando’s, crediting his security team for regularly fetching him food from the popular chain.
“Everyone loves a Nando’s,” he joked, adding that it had been a while since he last indulged in a meal from the eatery.
Even Queen loved takeout!
Even the late Queen Elizabeth II wasn’t immune to the charms of a good takeaway. According to royal insiders, she occasionally treated herself to fish and chips while at Balmoral, sending a footman to the nearby town of Ballater to pick up her favorite meal.
The Queen reportedly also enjoyed a kebab from time to time, with an insider from Hello! magazine recounting how Sandringham House once placed a kebab order from a local spot known for its tasty dishes.
The delivery driver told Jayne, "I assumed the food was for a servant. But when I got to the entrance a butler took it and said it was for the Queen. I hope she enjoyed it we are known for the best kebabs in Norfolk."
