LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Journalist Katie Couric has slammed Jeff Bezos’ new wife Lauren Sanchez as “tacky” in a social media post that showed her in her wedding dress.

Couric's remarks came on the same day when Sanchez said “I do” to the Amazon CEO, as reported by the Daily Mail.

Couric took to the comment section of a post shared by Jack Schlossberg, the grandson of John F Kennedy and former first lady Jacqueline Bouvier Kennedy, where he made fun of Bezos and Sanchez.

The 32-year-old reshared Vogue's cover featuring the founder of Black Ops Aviation wearing her special day gown, a Dolce & Gabbana corseted, mermaid-style dress, featuring hand-appliqued Italian lace.

He captioned it, “Like I said … vogue.”

Couric, who previously co-hosted 'Today', commented below it, writing, “Welcome to the eighties—when big hair and conspicuous consumption ruled. Apparently tacky is back.”

Schlossberg played along as he added, “Let’s bring back scrunchies.”
