VENICE, ITALY: Lauren Sanchez’s two sons played a very vital role during their mother’s wedding with Jeff Bezos in Venice, Italy.
Nikko and Evan walked their journalist mother down the aisle before she said “I do” to the Amazon CEO, as reported by PEOPLE.
The publication citing Vogue's Chloe Malle said, “Her two sons will walk her down the aisle, she tells me, apologizing that she can’t help tearing up as she envisions it.”
Lauren Sanchez is the mother of three children
The wedding ceremony happened on the island of San Giorgio Maggiore on June 27.
The 55-year-old licensed pilot became a first-time mother in 2001 as she had Nikko, 24, with her former boyfriend Tony Gonzalez.
Later, she married her now ex-husband, businessman Patrick Whitesell, and welcomed their son, Evan, 19, and daughter, Ella, in 2006 and 2008, respectively.
On the other hand, Bezos is also the father of four children — three sons and one daughter. He shares them with his former wife, MacKenzie Scott.
The duo split in 2019 after 25 years of marriage.

Meanwhile, regarding the millions of dollars worth of wedding, it has been said that many high-profile names, like Kris Jenner, Kylie Jenner, Oprah Winfrey, Gayle King, Leonardo DiCaprio, Orlando Bloom, Ivanka Trump, Kim Kardashian, Khloe Kardashian, Karlie Kloss, Usher and Tom Brady, were in attendance to witness the nuptials.
For her special day, Sanchez reportedly chose a corseted, mermaid-style wedding dress by Dolce & Gabbana, featuring hand-appliquéd Italian lace.
She thanked the fashion house by writing on Instagram, “Not just a gown, a piece of poetry. Thank you @dolcegabbana for the magic you made.”

Lauren Sanchez and Jeff Bezos got engaged two years ago
The founder of Black Ops Aviation shared the photo from the wedding on her Instagram page. She’s even changed her name there as it now says, Lauren Sanchez Bezos.

Sanchez and the third-richest man on earth began dating in 2019 and got engaged in May 2023.
In late 2023, the mother-of-three told PEOPLE, “We’re still thinking about the wedding, what it’s going to be. Is it going to be big? Is it going to be overseas? We don’t know yet. We’ve only been engaged for five months!”
At the time, Sanchez also revealed that "when he opened the box, I think I blacked out a bit," referring to the enormous engagement ring which Bezos gave her.
