LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: An interview of Keanu Reeves has reportedly left his fans fuming with anger and frustration after he was asked a very awkward question about Sandra Bullock on live TV.

The 60-year-old actor and Bullock have worked together in the film ‘Speed’. Earlier reports have claimed that the pair had a crush on each other at the time.

Even in a 2019 interview, Reeves reportedly said, “She obviously didn’t know I had a crush on her.”

“We just get to grow up together on parallel roads and tip our hats and meet for a dinner and try to work together. And the longer time goes on, the more in awe I am of [him],” Bullock shared about Reeves in 2021, according to Life & Style.

Keanu Reeves felt ‘nice’ to see Sandra Bullock at ‘Speed’ reunion

Now, the ‘John Wick’ actor appeared on this week’s BBC's ‘The One Show’ to talk about his new movies ‘Sonic the Hedgehog 3’ and ‘Ballerina’, reported Daily Mail.

However, during the interview, he was asked about Bullock. The two stars recently reunited at the 30th-anniversary celebration of the 1994 thriller 'Speed'.

‘The One Show’ host Alex Jones asked Reeves how he felt about the reunion with ‘The Proposal’ actress.

“That was so nice. Yeah, Sandra Bullock and I get along really well and it's always nice to see her, so it was nice to kind of hang out for a little bit,” the 60-year-old actor answered.

Keanu Reeves said he and Sandra Bullock ‘were very professional’ during ‘Speed’ filming

Soon another host, Gabby Logan, jumped in and asked, “Didn't you discover later that you could've got on even better... you both had a bit of a crush on each other on set but you didn't find out until later on that you kind of fancied each other…”

Instead of getting rude, the ‘Constantine’ star just replied, “Ohhhh yeah! We were very professional.”

“That would've been a nice couple!” he noted.

Logan then added, “There was great chemistry on screen anyway. It was fantastic.”

Internet calls interviewer's question to Keanu Reeves ‘disrespectful’

After the clip of the interview spread on social media, Keanu Reeves’ fans called out the presenter for his "disrespectful" question and hailed the Canadian actor.

On Facebook, one fan commented, “He has a partner now a bit embarrassing for him to answer that now But he handled that well He’s a nice man.”

Another shared, “He handles this SO well. Terrible question to ask and such old news.”

“Why the people living in the past. He is very happy with a beautiful woman,” one person wrote.

Another remarked, “What a disrespectful question to ask, knowing he currently has a partner.”

“Can't stand either of those women and what a stupid question! Well handled Keanu!” an individual commented.

Another stated, “I understand talking about this as some people like gossip but asking him about it is just embarassing…”

One comment read, “What an asinine, unprofessional set of questions.”

Keanu Reeves and Sandra Bullock share a ‘special bond’

This came after a report claimed that Bullock and Reeves are getting closer after the actress' partner Bryan Randall’s death in 2023.
