Kelly Clarkson admits she has a ‘Christmas Room’ which stays decorated entire year for one special reason
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Kelly Clarkson, 42, has a holiday surprise inside her home that would delight any Christmas lover, a dedicated "Christmas Room” that stays fully decorated all year round.
On the November 4 episode of 'The Kelly Clarkson Show', she revealed this holiday haven to her guest, actress Robin Wright. The pair shared their agreement that November 1 marks the unofficial start of the festive season, as reported by People.
Kelly Clarkson's festive spirit shines year-round
Kelly Clarkson explained that the space, originally a bit too large and unused, has become a cherished area where she and her children, River Rose, 10, and Remington 'Remy' Alexander, 8, enjoy Christmas music and dance together. “After decorating it the first year, I thought, ‘That’s a lot of work – we’ll just shut the doors and leave it till next Christmas!’” she laughed.
"I decorated it the first year for Christmas, and then I was like, 'That was a lot of work. We'll shut the doors until (next) Christmas," she laughed. "So we have a whole room, but we literally will go in there and dance throughout the day and just put Christmas songs on."
A true fan of the holidays, Clarkson has produced two Christmas albums over the years: 'When Christmas Comes Around' (2021) and 'Wrapped in Red' (2013). In September, she collaborated with Mark Ronson and Andrew Wyatt on a new holiday single, 'You For Christmas', released in September.
Clarkson’s love for the season goes beyond music. On December 4, 2024, she’ll be hosting NBC’s Christmas in Rockefeller Center special for the second year in a row, bringing more holiday joy with musical performances and the famous tree-lighting ceremony.

Kelly Clarkson’s fans are rallied behind her upcoming holiday track, 'You For Christmas,' igniting speculation that it might challenge Mariah Carey’s holiday music dominance.
