Beyonce skillfully included musical allusions within her remarks despite not performing. Dressed in a black skirt suit, the singer declared, "It’s time for America to sing a new song. Are y’all ready to add your voice?" per Harper's Bazaar.

Meanwhile, Rowland added her own words, including, "Houston, you’ve already had a hand in creating ‘destiny'. So do what you do, and let’s do this thing again."

As per WWD, Rowland, who worked with stylist Wilford Lenov, paired an Amiri shirt and tie with a Fear of God suit. However, Rowland's innovative outfit eventually turned into a matter of ridicule online for its oversized appearance.
