Kevin Costner ‘talking pretty much every day’ to Jennifer Lopez after recent Aspen hangout, claims source
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Jennifer Lopez and 'Yellowstone' star Kevin Costner have been "talking pretty much every day" since their hangout in Aspen recently.
Sources revealed to Closer Magazine that the 'Horizon' star has been captivated by the 'On The Floor' hitmaker and they were recently spotted enjoying each other's company following their respective divorces.
Kevin Costner and Jennifer Lopez reportedly have their eyes set on one another
Both Jennifer Lopez, 55, and Kevin Costner, 69, seem to have bonded after their divorces from their former partners, Ben Affleck and Christine Baumgartner, respectively.
According to the Daily Mail, Lopez had an amazing fangirl moment on December 27, 2024, when she ran into the 'Yellowstone' star in Aspen, Colorado. The duo were spotted sipping cocktails at the bar of the famous western clothing retailer Kemo Sabe.

Sources have since revealed that both reportedly have been "talking pretty much every day and the plan is to get together for dinner in the next couple of weeks, when their schedules line up".
Speaking of Costner and Lopez's bonding, a source said, "At the moment things are still at the very beginning stages."
"But after they hung out in Aspen he made sure to send her a huge bouquet of her favorite flowers with a little handwritten note along with a magnum of champagne," the source added.
Insiders have claimed that the two celebrities are a perfect match and have been suggesting that things might be getting stronger between them.
Besides being a singer, Lopez reportedly "loves how passionate Kevin is about making movies, and he’s also a musician," and he is "in awe of how incredibly fit and eternally young she is."
"She’s among those inspiring him to hit the gym and prove age is just a number," the source said.
Although Lopez isn't quite ready to jump into a relationship immediately, the insider revealed to the outlet that she seems excited about finding concord with the 'Yellowstone' actor.
"Jennifer isn’t ready to rush into anything right now but she does seem excited about the potential, and even if they wind up just connecting as friends, it’s still a massive ego boost to have him falling all over her like this," the source said.
Kevin Costner and Jennifer Lopez have much in common
Following a two-year marriage to Ben Affleck, Jennifer Lopez found herself single once again in 2024. Meanwhile, Kevin Costner and Christine Baumgartner divorced in 2024 after almost two decades of marriage.
Besides their divorces, Lopez and Costner also have certain things in common.
Costner is an "old-school romantic" while Lopez describes herself as a "hopeless romantic".
According to the insider, Costner has been praising Lopez for her popular work ethic and acting career, just like Affleck, who first met her on the set of their 2002 movie 'Gigli'.
The insider said, "She was eating up the praise – that’s definitely the way to her heart. Kevin is the type of old-school romantic that would write and produce a movie for them to star in together, so if things do go to the next level with them no one would be surprised if he actually funds a project for her."
Moreover, Costner has become a possible perfect fit for Lopez because he fulfills all the requirements, and Lopez is reportedly impressed by Costner's enthusiasm for the arts and his film projects.
The source added that Lopez "loves how passionate Kevin is about making movies, and he’s also a musician [with band Kevin Costner & Modern West] so they actually have a lot in common and a lot of things to talk about".
"Music is something so close to Jennifer's heart, there’s just a special language that she can share with other musicians so that’s a big plus," the source noted.
"Kevin is also someone who has taken a lot of big gambles on himself, just like Jennifer has. There aren’t a lot of people in Hollywood that have funded their own projects, so that’s something they immediately bonded over," they added.
