Kid Rock leaves Jesse Watters in stitches with outrageous Halloween costume reveal
WASHINGTON, DC: Rocker Kid Rock left Fox host Jesse Watters nearly gasping for air mid-laugh during a live segment, thanks to his wildly inappropriate Halloween costume idea.
As the two joked about their Halloween plans, Kid Rock had a simple question for Watters. “What are you dressing up as?” he asked.

Watters replied, “So my whole family is doing 'Scooby-Doo.' My son’s going to be Scooby-Doo. I’m Shaggy.”
The Fox host described his look in full detail. “I’m gonna kind of dress like you — big, baggy clothes, I got long hair — just gonna have a little flask while I walk around…” he said, earning laughs from the rocker. But what came next left Watters doubled over.
This may be the single funniest moment in the history of live TV.

In a clip now circulating online, Kid Rock reached off-screen to pull out a face mask and slipped it on with a grin. “Guess what I’m gonna be — guess what I’m gonna be?” he teased.
Watters guessed, “Fauci?”
“A r****d! A r****d,” Kid Rock shouted.
Watters burst into laughter, caught completely off guard. “Okay. I guess you can be anything,” he managed between chuckles, as Kid Rock yelled, “Greatest costume ever!”
Watters wrapped up the segment saying, “All right, Kid, I’ll see you out there — trick or treat!”
Kid Rock’s history of anti-mask rants
The 54-year-old rocker, whose real name is Robert James Ritchie, has long been vocal about his opposition to mask mandates.
In his 2022 song 'We The People', he rapped, “Wear your mask, take your pills / Now a whole generation’s mentally ill.”
That same year, before launching his 'Bad Reputation' tour, he announced he wouldn’t play in any city enforcing mask or vaccine mandates — leading to several canceled shows.
In June 2020, his Nashville bar, 'Kid Rock’s Big A-- Honky Tonk and Rock n’ Roll Steakhouse', was cited for violating COVID-19 restrictions after photos showed crowds of unmasked partiers.
Pitching himself for Trump’s $300M White House ballroom
Kid Rock also used his time on 'Jesse Watters Primetime' to pitch himself as the first performer in former President Donald Trump’s new $300 million White House ballroom.
Demolition of the East Wing reportedly began this week to make way for the 90,000-square-foot, gold-plated space, funded by private donors. Trump has pledged to contribute “millions” of his own money to finish it before the end of his term.
Watters asked, “Kid, we’re hearing from sources that you might be the one to play the big beautiful ballroom. That true?”
“I hope so!” Kid Rock said. “Ball ’til you fall, that’s what I say.”

Watters pressed him about the backlash surrounding the project.
“I’ve heard all the talking points from the left wing, especially the media,” Kid Rock replied. “They say it’s the people’s house — that’s correct. And we the people elected this man overwhelmingly. If he wants to build a big beautiful addition, that’s his call. It’s not taking taxpayer money.”
He added with a laugh, “If he’s gonna sidestep a few regulations, I wouldn’t be mad at him. All he has to do is say, ‘We’re putting in a gender-neutral bathroom,’ and they’ll love it!”
“That’s all they need to do, and then they’ll be dancing the night away,” Watters joked, still laughing.
