SANTA CLARA, LOS ANGELES: Bad Bunny and Kid Rock ignited a cultural face-off as both artists took to massive stages on the same night, leaving fans divided over who delivered the stronger performance. While Bad Bunny headlined the official Super Bowl LX halftime show at Levi’s Stadium, Kid Rock performed for the conservative organization Turning Point USA.

The parallel events prompted TMZ to launch a poll comparing the two shows, where Kid Rock quickly jumped to an early lead with more than 80 percent of the vote.

The screenshot indicated that Kid Rock dominated the poll with 84 percent of the vote, while Bad Bunny received 16 percent, out of a total of 32,224 votes.

The X account @redwavepres celebrated Rock’s lead by sharing the screenshot and declaring, “TMZ just ran a poll on the better Super Bowl Halftime show, and Kid Rock featured on Turning Point USA’s All-American Halftime Show is absolutely crushing Bad Bunny with over 80% of the vote!” The account also posted a 90-second clip from Rock’s performance, highlighting its patriotic and Christian themes, including lyrics about redemption through Jesus and pursuing dreams.

The post contrasted Rock’s message-driven set with Bad Bunny’s reggaeton-focused production at Levi’s Stadium. Notably, Rock closed his show by paying tribute to Charlie Kirk, CEO and co-founder of Turning Point USA, who died in September 2025 at a rally in Utah.

The TMZ poll later shifted after it went viral. Rock’s early lead of 84 percent dropped to 70 percent, while Bad Bunny’s share rose from 16 percent to 30 percent. Despite the change, Rock continues to lead the poll as the preferred performer.

Bad Bunny and Kid Rock stage rival halftime shows simultaneously

Bad Bunny opened his performance by walking through a tall sugarcane field while rapping his hit song 'Tití Me Preguntó'.

The scene depicted everyday life, with men playing dominoes, women doing their nails, vendors selling tacos and jewelry, and boxers sparring nearby. Several celebrities, including Cardi B, Jessica Alba, and Pedro Pascal, were seen in attendance.

Bad Bunny was joined by two special guests during the performance. Lady Gaga appeared to perform a salsa-inspired version of her duet with Bruno Mars, Die With a Smile, while Ricky Martin sang Bad Bunny’s emotional ballad 'Lo Que Le Pasó a Hawaii'. In a surprise moment, Bad Bunny also presented an engagement ring to an unnamed couple during the show.

Meanwhile, Kid Rock performed at a separate event titled the All American Halftime Show, organized by Turning Point USA. He opened his set with the high-energy anthem 'Bawitdaba', followed by a country-leaning cover of Cody Johnson’s 'Til You Can’t', with his own verse added.

He closed the show with 'If You’re Gonna Love Somebody', dedicating it to Charlie Kirk. As Rock sang lyrics about holding loved ones close, photos of Kirk, his wife Erika, and their children appeared on large video screens around the stage.
