Kim Kardashian and Kris Jenner got Blue Origin space flight invitation but declined it for two reasons

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Kim Kardashian and Kris Jenner were also asked to be part of the all-female crew of the Blue Origin flight that took off on Monday, April 14.
The duo, however, declined the offer due to two reasons, as reported by The US Sun.

Why didn't Kim Kardashian and Kris Jenner take Blue Origin space flight?
“Kris and Kim were offered to go on the Blue Origin. Kris absolutely did not want to go for safety concerns and not wanting to put herself in a risky position being a mom and a grandma,” a source revealed.
“Kim was more open to it but had scheduling conflicts. Maybe in the future, especially seeing how much of a success this flight was,” they added.
The Monday flight crew included names like Jeff Bezos' fiancee Lauren Sanchez, pop star Katy Perry, CBS host Gayle King, former NASA rocket scientist Aisha Bowe, scientist Amanda Nguyen, and film producer Kerianne Flynn.
The flight lasted around 11 minutes and took the six women more than 100 km (62 miles) above Earth, giving them a few moments of weightlessness.
The tipster further shared the reason behind Perry taking the historic flight.

Katy Perry ‘wanted to set an example’ for her daughter
The source told the publication, “A lot of people asked her why she did it since she has a daughter. Katy was adamant she had to do it because of her daughter. She wanted to set an example of what a strong, fearless, multifaceted woman with no limits can look like.”
“And blasting off into space is quite literally the definition of no limits. She was so excited and really trusted the process. She didn’t seem fearful at all,” the insider stated.
The flight went into space from just outside of Van Horn, Texas, where Kris was present to support her friend, Sanchez, with her daughter Khloe Kardashian.
