Kim Kardashian reveals whether she’s profiting from managing North West’s career as her ‘momager’

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Kim Kardashian recently opened up about her role in managing her daughter North West’s career, revealing whether or not she is taking a cut from her earnings.
The conversation took place during a phone call with her sister Khloe Kardashian on the Thursday, February 20, episode of 'The Kardashians'.
Kim Kardashian refuses to follow Kris Jenner’s footsteps as 'momager'
"Guess what? This momager is not taking 10 percent," Kim Kardashian, 44, told Khloe Kardashian referring to the fact that she is not following in their mother Kris Jenner's footsteps.
Kris has famously managed the careers of her five daughters, taking a 10 percent cut from each of them.

The discussion came as Kim expressed her concerns about North, who is 10 years old, being asked to sing as part of a Hollywood Bowl 30th anniversary celebration for Disney's 'The Lion King.' North is set to perform the iconic song 'I Just Can’t Wait To Be King' in the role of Simba, Life&Style reported.
Kim admitted she was not sure whether to let North take on the role. "I just can't decide," Kim said during the conversation, voicing her uncertainty over the opportunity.

Khloe, 40, advised her to prioritize North’s future success, saying, "You just want to make sure that you can set her up for success, because the world is just like mean."
Kim, however, was unsure if North was ready for such a big stage, responding, “I don’t know if she can she sing Broadway.”
Khloe reassured her sister, but Kim was still worried. "That’s what I’m worried about,” she responded.
Kim Kardashian grapples with decision to let North West perform
In a confessional, Kim Kardashian expressed her internal conflict, stating, "I'm really torn on if I should let her do this or not. North is very comfortable performing, but she's not a singer. She raps, and she’s been on the stage with her dad."
"But as a mom, especially putting her child on a platform for a lot of opinions, it’s something to really, really, really think about," she added.

After consulting with her ex-husband, Kanye West, Kim shared with Khloe that he thought the opportunity was "cool" for North, while North herself eagerly begged her mother to let her do the role.
"Please, Mom, I want to do it," said North.
Kim then told Khloe, "I wasn’t planning on being a momager for like another 10 years!”
“I still want to be me, you know? I still have more to do,” she said in the confessional, emphasizing her desire to balance her professional ambitions with her role as a mother.
Kim also shared how much time is required to help guide North’s life in the public eye, admitting, “Every day that she is busy doing something is a day that I can’t work. Because she’s not doing anything without me being right there the whole time.”
