Kim Kardashian regrets not having a great 43rd birthday as she was ‘stuck’ doing what others wanted to do

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Kim Kardashian, who was eagerly anticipating her 43rd birthday, expressed feeling overwhelmed by her daily routine. 

Notably, the founder of SKIMS was born on October 21, 1980. She is the mother of four children, Psalm, 4, Chicago, 6, Saint, 8, and North,10. 

In a recent episode of 'The Kardashians', she shared her disappointment over how her birthday celebrations unfolded. She claimed she had catered to everyone else's desires and described the experience as torturous. 

In response to her struggles, Kardashian's mother, Kris Jenner, offered advice on setting boundaries, as per People.

Kim Kardashian expresses disappointment over 43rd birthday celebration

In this week's episode of 'The Kardashians', Kim recounted her birthday activities to her mother, expressing her disappointment.

"I thought my birthday, I'd have a day to myself. I was stuck doing everything that everyone else wanted to do. I was stuck watching YouTube unboxing videos on my birthday. I had a FIFA tournament. Color Me Mine — you should see the ugly thing I made. This is not what I wanted to be doing on my birthday." 

She then continued, "I need to sit my kids down and be like this isn't Mother's Day. Like this is my day. Do you think a mom wants to go to Color Me Mine one more time on her birthday? Whose birthday is it? I know I was tortured. Just make me breakfast. That's a great birthday." 

When asked what according to her would have been her "perfect" birthday. Kardashian explained, "To lock my door. Not get out of my bed and eat cookies and cream ice cream all day long. That's what would have been my dream and no one cares about my dreams, not my four kids at least."

Kris Jenner offers some parenting advice to Kim Kardashian

Following a heart-to-heart with Jenner, the mother of six revealed her belief that Kim should toughen up, "I think that we've all, as moms, been through some days where we don't want to be doing what we're doing, but we do it for our kids. So, come on, Kim. Suck it up, do a little Color Me Mine."

Kim expressed her desire to adopt a stricter parenting style akin to her "tough" sister Khloe Kardashian's. "I'm gonna get my s**t together and I'm gonna be a f**king drill sergeant. Like, Khloe is so tough." 

Reflecting on her parenting approach, Kim explained, "I'd say I'm like half of a Khloe parent or and half of a Kourtney parent. Kourtney’s like, ‘It's all love, do what you want,’ you know, but then I also get Khloe and I get that order but it's difficult for me to be a really strict parent."

 Later, Jenner offered Kim advice on setting boundaries. "You're gonna have to create some boundaries for everybody else including me, including your friends, including some business associates."

She suggested, "You just need to create a world for yourself where less people have access to you. And everyone else can f**k off." 

Jenner empathized with her overwhelmed daughter. "Being a mom, being a working mom, it's really hard. I know Kim, and I know how she thrives on her workload, but we all still need a little bit of balance."

After viewing the episode of 'The Kardashians' in which Kim Kardashian discussed her somber 43rd birthday, numerous social media users took to the comments section on Facebook to mock and slam her.

One user jokingly question, "How dare she let the Nannie’s have off her her birthday."

The second claimed about their own experience, "Usually how it is when you're an adult. Most of us have to actually work our normal jobs on our birthday. I wanted a few hours to relax on Mother's Day since I'm pregnant and exhausted, but I didn't get that either. 😂"

The third advised, "Welcome to the real world Kim. Get over yourself. Count your kids as blessings instead of burdens. I couldn't be blessed with kids and I'd love it."

The fourth convinced Kim saying that this is a "part of being a parent".

The fifth slammed Kim saying, "She is always complaining about her kids... Every single episode, and yall wonder why North gives her hell... She deserves every bit of it... You shouldn't have kids if you're complete and total narcissist 🤷🏾‍♀️"

The last added, "What a horrible mother to think that."
