LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Kim Kardashian wished her friend Ivanka Trump a happy birthday over Instagram Story on Wednesday, October 30, reported the Daily Mail.
According to the publication, the former first daughter turned 43 on that day, and the reality television star, 44, shared her well wishes along with throwback photographs of them together.
"No one is sweeter than you @ivankatrump Happy Birthday," Kardashian wrote in her story, followed by three white heart emojis. The picture in the story showed Kardashian pouting for the selfie as Trump had her hand around her shoulder."
Tagging Trump, Kardashian also shared a couple more photos of them dressed up for social events. Trump acknowledged the posts and reposted them on her own Instagram Story.
Kim Kardashian's bond with Ivanka Trump
The friendship between Kim Kardashian and Ivanka Trump dates back nearly a decade, according to the Daily Mail. The two met at the Met Gala in 2014 and bonded over their experiences as new mothers.
Their bond strengthened while they collaborated on prison reforms during the presidency of Trump's father, GOP nominee and business tycoon Donald Trump. The pair have been spotted together on numerous occasions since.
Trump and Kardashian were also seen together at the White House in 2018 when Kardashian petitioned then-President Donald Trump to commute the life sentence of drug offender Alice Marie Johnson.
With less than a week remaining until the 2024 Election Day, Kardashian has not yet endorsed any presidential candidate, despite her history with Trump and her father. Ivanka Trump has also noticeably distanced herself from the GOP campaign.
