Kim Kardashian’s eerie 'Santa Baby' cover music video features Macaulay Culkin as Santa
In the strange found footage-style video, Kim Kardashian dons a blonde wig, a baby blue cropped cardigan, a vest top, and nude leggings. She drags herself across the floor, past a group of elves, a man getting a haircut, and even a man dressed like Jesus Christ, creating an eerie atmosphere.
The video ends with a shot of Macaulay Culkin, dressed as a creepy Santa, filming her antics. The cover, which was produced by her brother-in-law, Travis Barker, was recorded in 2023, as reported by Daily Mail.
Last year, the Kardashians revealed why they chose to venture into Christmas music production.
In an episode of 'The Kardashians', Kim's sister, Kourtney Kardashian, explained that after their mother, Kris Jenner, released a holiday song in 2021, the family decided to create their own Christmas album.
"After my mom recorded her Christmas song, all my sisters, like we've all been talking about doing a Christmas album," she stated during a confession. "I think it's because we all are obsessed with Christmas, and all of the proceeds will go to charity."
Kim Kardashian's 'Santa Baby' cover music video slammed as 'disturbing' and 'demonic'
Kim Kardashian's latest release seems to have missed the mark for many Instagram users who were expecting a light-hearted and festive celebration of the holiday season.
A user said, "This is disturbing. And she claims to be Christian. This is absurd," while another wrote, "The Cringe that Stole Christmas..."
"This looks like every single nightmare I've ever had. This is demonic, like, what are you doing Kim? And I don't even dislike Kim, but I'm sorry, what is this?" an individual remarked.
"Some demonic stuff right before Xmas," wrote a critic, while another person added, "Either forced to put this out or did it willingly. Either way, it's an unfollow."
"This is the weirdest thing I've seen 😳," one more declared. A follower said, "I thought you are Christian Kim and this video is blasphemous. Smh!"
