Kim Zolciak accuses Kroy Biermann of throwing her to the ground during fight but their children refute
ALPHARETTA, GEORGIA: Kim Zolciak, former 'The Real Housewives of Atlanta' star, has accused her estranged husband, Kroy Biermann, of physically assaulting her during a heated argument just before Thanksgiving.
The alleged incident unfolded at their Georgia mansion, which is now scheduled for auction following the couple's ongoing financial struggles.
Kim Zolciak accuses Kroy Biermann of assault in Thanksgiving incident
According to reports from TMZ, the Milton Police Department responded to a domestic violence call on November 27, one day before Thanksgiving.
Kim Zolciak, 46, claimed that while standing on a ladder to remove curtains, Kroy Biermann, 39, confronted her, pulled her down from the ladder, and threw her to the floor.
She also alleged she sustained injuries during the altercation but refused to show evidence of these injuries to authorities.
Two of the couple's children, who reportedly witnessed the altercation, shared conflicting accounts with authorities.
One of their younger daughters contradicted Zolciak's claims, stating that the reality star had fallen from the ladder rather than being thrown.
She also revealed that Biermann had been the one initially removing the curtains, which upset Zolciak and led her to intervene.

The daughter added that her father had advised her to be honest with the police but had not influenced her version of events.
Another witness, their son, came upstairs after hearing the argument but did not see Biermann pulling Zolciak off the ladder.
In his statement to authorities, Biermann claimed that Zolciak attacked him from behind and hit him in the face. However, police were unable to determine the "primary aggressor" in the situation, per DailyMail.
Kim Zolciak and Kroy Biermann’s messy divorce amid financial struggles
This latest dispute is another chapter in the tumultuous divorce between Kim Zolciak and Kroy Biermann, who share four children: KJ, 13, Kash, 12, and 11-year-old twins Kaia and Kane.
Biermann also adopted Zolciak's daughters from a previous relationship, Brielle, 27, and Ariana, 23, after their 2011 marriage.
The couple initially announced their split in May 2023, shocking fans who were already aware of their financial troubles, including a reported $1.1 million in unpaid taxes to the IRS.
Despite attempting to reconcile in July, Biermann filed for divorce again in August, citing that the marriage was "irretrievably broken".
The couple's seven-bedroom Georgia mansion has become a focal point of their struggles.
Originally listed for $6 million in October 2023, the price has been slashed multiple times, most recently to $3.65 million, in a desperate attempt to sell the property before its auction.
Last week, Zolciak was seen moving out of the home after the failed sale. She has also turned to social media to make extra income, listing elaborate fake Christmas trees for sale.
Prices range from $1,750 for a beach-themed tree to $4,500 for a candy cane-decorated one.
Meanwhile, Biermann has taken a job at Superior Rigging & Erecting Co, a company specializing in stadium construction and renovations, including Atlanta's State Farm Arena and Mercedes-Benz Stadium.
Kim Zolciak and Kroy Biermann's previous heated disputes
This isn’t the first time tensions between Kim Zolciak and Kroy Biermann have escalated.
Just days before the Thanksgiving incident, on November 18, police were called to their home after another domestic dispute, as per Page Six.
Officers deemed that altercation a verbal exchange with no physical violence.
In an audio recording obtained by TMZ, Zolciak was heard telling Biermann while on the phone with a dispatcher, “I don’t want anything to do with you. I want to get into my room, sir."
Earlier this year, Zolciak accused Biermann of spying on her and invading her privacy. In May, she called the police, claiming he had taken her phone and locked himself in the master bedroom.
Zolciak also broke down during a "screaming therapy" session on MTV’s 'Surreal Life: Villa of Secrets' in July, revealing the emotional toll of her divorce.
