While Kardashian Barker did not share any of the responses she received, she later posted images of her breakfast, which included croissants and a mixed fruit bowl. She also shared glimpses of what seemed to be a Poosh pool party featuring floaties and a Camp Poosh bus, as well as a painting portraying Mother Mary praying with an angel lifting her up. Despite these updates, she did not provide any updates on her health status.
The Lemme founder initially disclosed her illness on April 10, when she posted a photo of herself tucked under the covers with a blurry filter, indicating that she had just consumed a glass of breast milk due to feeling unwell. However, she did not specify the cause of her illness or her symptoms.
This revelation came shortly after her return from a spring break vacation with her son Rocky Thirteen, 5 months, whom she shares with husband Travis Barker.
During her vacation, Kardashian Barker shared precious moments with her children, expressing gratitude for the quality time spent with them. She posted snapshots featuring her daughter Penelope Scotland, 11, and sons Mason Dash, 14, and Reign Aston, 9, whom she shares with ex Scott Disick. Additionally, she is a stepmother to Barker's children Alabama, 18, and Landon, 20, as well as stepdaughter Atiana De La Hoya, 25, from Barker's previous marriage to Shanna Moakler.
Kourtney Kardashian faced criticism after revealing her method to alleviate sickness
On April 10, the 'Lemme' founder shared a photo on her Instagram Stories as she prepared for bedtime. In the snapshot, tucked under a sheet, the 44-year-old mother of four posted a selfie and gave a thumbs-up to the camera, using one of the app's filters. Alongside the image, she wrote, "This filter is crazy and I just pounded a glass of breast milk because I feel sick good night!"
While Kourtney's post was met with mixed reactions, some expressing concern over her unconventional remedy, she also received support from fans. Over the weekend, she reshared an Instagram post on her Stories, accompanied by a heartfelt message addressed to all the 'new mommies' out there.
In the message, she emphasized the beauty of the body at all stages, from pregnancy to postpartum recovery, and encouraged self-compassion during the adjustment period, particularly for breastfeeding mothers.
"Your body is beautiful at all stages. During pregnancy as we are glowing and growing, postpartum as we are healing and shrinking, and then that period I find the hardest as our bodies are still adjusting," she wrote.
"And if you're breastfeeding, that's a whole other part of it. I try to be kind to myself as my body finds a new normal.
"The pressure put on us to bounce back when everything is new and different isn't realistic. Life is beautiful, you are beautiful. Just a little reminder (for me too;) XOXO."
