CALABASAS, CALIFORNIA: As the holiday season kicks into full swing, many are getting into festive mood - and Kourtney Kardashian is no exception.

The reality star, who lives with her husband Travis Barker in their stunning $9.5 million Calabasas home, recently shared a glimpse of their unique Christmas celebration.

In a carousel post, she showcased her holiday decor, featuring multiple trees, twinkling lights, and an array of festive touches.

However, the display quickly sparked online backlash, with critics labeling the decorations as "weird" and "creepy," pointing out the unusual colors of the Christmas trees and the crooked candles that seemed to leave some feeling unsettled.

Kourtney Kardashian, who boasts over 220 million followers on Instagram, recently shared a carousel post showcasing her Christmas decorations with the caption "Hello December".

The post, which features more than 10 photos, begins with a central image of a large green Christmas tree adorned with twinkling white fairy lights.

The second image highlights a beautifully arranged table with candles, two plates decorated with red ribbons, and three cream-colored candles placed in the center, surrounded by green grass.

The next photo presents a red-forest theme with a tree-like structure topped with red balloons resembling leaves, along with a red Christmas tree draped in white fairy lights.

The fourth image is a short video featuring six red artificial Christmas trees with lights. Following that is a photo of Kourtney holding a snow globe, followed by another image of her legs crossed, dressed in festive pajamas and Santa slippers.

The next picture shows another part of her home filled with Christmas decorations, including six green trees with red tree skirts, with a video filmed in the same location as the previous one with the red trees.

The eighth photo features a person dressed as Santa, waving like the jolly figure himself. The ninth image captures a top-down view of the space, showcasing the green and red trees. The following slide shows Kourtney in a green dress paired with thigh-high red boots and red bauble earrings.

The 11th slide drew significant attention, revealing an upside-down Christmas tree in her home, sparking backlash from fans. The 12th image shows the same three green trees, this time surrounded by red presents on the floor beneath them.

The carousel concludes with a snowy tree adorned with large metallic baubles, followed by a nostalgic final shot of Kourtney's family Christmas tree from her childhood.

Kourtney Kardashian's 'strange' Christmas celebration faces backlash online

Although Kourtney Kardashian's Christmas decor garnered over 1M likes on Instagram in under a day, several Internet users quickly criticized the influencer for having creepy and unusual decorations, with some also condemning her for spending money lavishly.

One user wrote, “Having 47 Christmas trees in your house is a weird flex. Very strange reality.”

The second person noted, “Your candle is crooked.”

An individual said, “The imperfections…”

A person mocked, “The amount of garbage your family contributes to landfills must be wild!”

Another questioned, “A tree hanging from the ceiling?”

One INstagram user worried, “This is disappointingly ostentatious 😢.”

One netizen declared, “The upside Christmas tree is creepy.”

One more person asked, “But that upside down tree I was told it denotes a demonic element.”

A user slammed, “This isn’t pretty at all. Where are the memories? Where are the kids ornaments that they have had all their lives? This looks like a department store that didn’t finish decorating the trees.”

The last user added, “Overconsumption is disgusting.”
