Kristin Cavallari claims Jason Statham was her 'hottest hookup' but she is hardly 'on his radar'
LOS ANGEELS, CALIFORNIA: Jason Statham has responded to Kristin Cavallari’s recent cheeky confession that the 'Snatch' actor was her “hottest hookup.”
Cavallari, 37, shared this tidbit during a TikTok challenge with hairstylist friend Justin Anderson, sparking a wave of curiosity online.
Kristin Cavallari spills on past fling with Jason Statham
The admission, made in the context of the viral 'Suspect Challenge', prompted Anderson to reveal: “Suspect's hottest hookup, that she never told anybody about, was Jason Statham.”
Cavallari, caught off guard, playfully responded, “Omg, Justin!”
Despite the buzz, insiders close to Statham and partner Rosie Huntington-Whiteley emphasized that the couple has little interest in the claims.
"The relationship with Kristin was so long ago that Jason has nothing to say about it,” a source told Daily Mail.
“He doesn't have it on his radar whatsoever. They aren’t really paying attention to it.”
The insider clarified that Cavallari hasn’t portrayed the fling as particularly significant: “Kristin hasn't given details or said Jason was the ‘one that got away’ or anything like that. They were together, and the next thing that happened was they both got involved with the people they went on to marry and start families with.”
Rosie Huntington-Whiteley 'unfazed' by Kristin Cavallari's past romance with Jason Statham
Huntington-Whiteley, engaged to Statham since 2010, is reportedly unfazed.
“At the end of the day, Rosie is with Jason; she is unfazed by his exes,” the insider added.
Although Cavallari and Statham’s relationship hasn’t been a major talking point until now, Us Weekly previously reported they had a “full-on relationship” lasting six months when Cavallari was in her 20s and Statham was reportedly living in Los Angeles.
This fling reportedly occurred before both stars moved on to long-term relationships in 2010 - Statham with Huntington-Whiteley and Cavallari with former NFL quarterback Jay Cutler.
The duo has since built lives with their respective partners. Statham and Huntington-Whiteley share two children: Jack, seven, and Isabella, two.
Kristin Cavallari laughs off dating banter
Meanwhile, Cavallari, who finalized her divorce from Cutler in 2020, shares three children — Camden, 12, Jaxon, ten, and Saylor, eight — with her ex-husband.
Cavallari’s participation in the TikTok challenge also unveiled other intriguing details about her dating history.
Anderson cheekily mentioned that she was once involved with country superstar Morgan Wallen.
“Suspect let Morgan Wallen hurt her feelings, and she kept going back,” he joked, as Cavallari laughed along.
Anderson didn’t hold back, humorously adding: “Suspect has turned all her ex-boyfriends into alcoholics,” referencing her ex-husband Cutler’s recent DUI and gun possession charges.
Cavallari, who prides herself on independence but is said to “always have a guy in rotation,” embraced the banter, sharing the video with the caption, “No b***h is safe.”
Days later, Cavallari addressed her love life on her 'Let’s Be Honest' podcast.
“Dating is funny right now,” she admitted. "I don’t think it’s that I’m not ready. Where I’m at in my life, if I feel one thing is wrong, is missing, I’m not wasting my time or my energy on someone.”
While she isn’t actively seeking romance, Cavallari made it clear she’s open to the right person.
However, she ruled out dating apps as a possibility: “I don’t see myself getting back on a dating app.”
