Kristin Davis shares unusual reason for being reluctant to break up with Alec Baldwin: 'Embarrassing'
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Kristin Davis is opening up about an unusual reason she was reluctant to end her relationship with Alec Baldwin in the early 2000s.
During a guest appearance on the Thursday, February 26, episode of the 'Literally! With Rob Lowe' podcast, the actress admitted that Baldwin’s impressive Hamptons estate was a significant factor in her hesitation.

Speaking about dating Baldwin, Davis recalled, “One of the best things about Alec Baldwin when I dated him is that he had the most incredible house in Amagansett."
The 'Beetlejuice' star owned a luxurious property that left a lasting impression on her.
“I remember I was at work, and I was like, ‘Sarah Jessica [Parker], I just don’t know if it’s going to work out with Alec and I, but I just really love that house,’” the 'And Just Like That' actress explained.
She admitted that this was “literally one of the only times” she felt torn about a breakup for material reasons.
Davis confessed that her reason felt “embarrassing” to say out loud, but she acknowledged it was true.
“I didn’t want to break up with this person because I liked his house,” she added, laughing at the memory.
Kristin Davis clears up a recent relationship rumor
Elsewhere in the podcast, Davis clarified that Baldwin was not the ex-boyfriend she had referred to in a previous episode of her 'Are You a Charlotte?' podcast where she revealed she had once been ghosted after lending a former partner $5,000.
“Oh, my God. I never would have had to lend Alec $5,000, my God,” Davis told Lowe, putting any speculation to rest, according to OK Magazine.
Kristin Davis says marriage was never a priority for her
Besides Alec Baldwin, Kristin Davis has had relationships with actor Damian Lewis, 54, Liev Schreiber, 57, and Aaron Sorkin, 63, though she has never been married.
The 'Deck the Halls' star, who adopted her daughter, Gemma, in 2011 and son, Wilson, in 2018, previously shared that marriage was never a priority for her.
“I’m not married, I have never been married, it’s not my thing, I was never focused on it,” Davis told 'Best Friend Energy' listeners in 2023.
Alec Baldwin’s expanding family
While Kristin Davis has remained single, Alec Baldwin has embraced married life.
The '30 Rock' alum wed Hilaria Baldwin, 41, in 2012, and the couple shares seven children, Carmen, 11, Rafael, nine, Leonardo, eight, Romeo, six, Eduardo, four, María, three, and Ilaria, two.
Baldwin also has an older daughter, Ireland, 29, from his previous marriage to Kim Basinger, 71.
