Kyle Richards allegedly tried to 'hook up' with Kevin Costner in Aspen amid lesbian affair rumors
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: 'Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' star Kyle Richards has been in the news for her alleged lesbian relationship with country music artist Morgan Wade, with her co-star Sutton Stracke recently spilling more tea.
In an appearance on Tuesday's, November 19, episode of the 'RHOBH After Show', Stracke said that Richards, 55, attempted to "hook up" with Hollywood star Kevin Costner while they were both in Aspen at the same time.
Sutton Stracke claims Kyle Richards tried to 'hook up' with Kevin Costner
In the 'Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' Season 14 premiere on Bravo on Sunday, November 17, the 55-year-old reality star discussed how her daughters reacted to her "evolving sexuality."
Although Richards declined to mention Wade's name on camera, Stracke revealed an even more prominent name—Kevin Costner—whom Richards reportedly attempted to hook up with.
Without revealing when the encounter exactly took place, Stracke, 53, claimed that Richards attempted to start a romantic relationship with the Oscar-winning actor in Aspen, Colorado.
Stracke told Gercelle Beauvais and Jennifer Tilly, "Kyle and I had this conversation. She was in Aspen and Kevin Costner was there and she was like... no, she was like trying to hook up with Kevin Costner."
Although it's not known when this flirtatious incident took place, Costner and Richards were both spotted in Aspen days apart in December 2023, according to Daily Mail.
The three were discussing Richards' alleged relationship with 29-year-old country music artist Wade, who has long been the subject of romance rumors involving the reality star. Beauvais added, "But you want Kevin Costner," to which, Stracke replied, "I know!"
"So this is what I'm saying. I don't think... that Morgan is the end-all be-all, because she really was trying to hook up with Costner," Stracke remarked.
She further joked, "Hang on, it's not all about Morgan. There's some Kevin Costner mixed in there."
In August 2023, Richards appeared in a music video for the country singer's song 'Fall In Love With Me', kissing Wade and blowing bubbles in a bathtub with the country singer.
Although Richards declined to comment on her romance rumors with Wade, she admitted in the 'RHOBH' season 14 premiere that the "tabloids created an enormous amount of pressure."
Meanwhile, Coster has been romantically associated with singer Jewel following his divorce from Christine Baumgartner in 2023. However, in an earlier interview, Costner maintained that he and Jewel are just friends.
Kyle Richards shares experience of her sexuality skepticism amid media scrutiny
Following her initial indication that she was reconsidering her sexual orientation during the Bravo series' season 13 reunion earlier in 2024, the 'Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' star has been open about her sexuality.
"It actually felt good for me to be honest about that and it isn't something that I've never thought about or questioned my life until this last couple years," Richards told E! News.
She added, "That was very confusing for me and I kept telling people, 'Can you just give me time to figure things out? I'm learning things about myself.'"
The 55-year-old 'RHOBH' star told People that she felt "loved" and "supported" by her children after confiding in them, despite her earlier admission that she was "terrified" to talk about her "evolving sexuality."

Richards—who had Farrah, 36, Alexia, 28, Sophia, 24, and Portia, 16, with her ex-husband Mauricio Umansky—explained, "There were so many rumors in the tabloids that I wanted to address with my daughters, who are my best friends."
"I also didn't want them to be embarrassed. I still want to be a good role model to them, but I realized that in being a good role model to them, I need to be honest and teach them to be true to themselves too," she added.
Richards went on to say that she wanted her children to know that they could get "hard conversations" from her at any time, knowing that "they're going to be loved and accepted no matter what."
However, her children were incredibly supportive after she sat down with them to discuss it. Her daughters are her "best friends," Richards continued, before adding that she "wanted to share that with them out of respect for them."
