NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: The Richards family is at a breaking point, and Kyle Richards reportedly has had enough with her sister Kim Richards.

In a bid to help her sister Kim get back on track with sobriety, Kyle took drastic measures—attempting to evict the former from one of her homes, according to Yahoo! Entertainment.

The incident comes amid growing tension, marking the second time this month that the authorities have been called in to intervene between the two 'Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' stars.

Kim Richards' unannounced visit to sister Kyle's home

The latest clash unfolded when LAPD officers were dispatched to a home Kyle owns in the Los Angeles area.

This time, it wasn’t Kyle who sought help, but a concerned neighbor. Kim had shown up at the property unannounced, and neighbors, wary of her past behavior, wanted her out.

When police contacted Kyle, she agreed, expressing that she did not want her sister there either.

Kyle had allowed Kim to stay in the home before, but the visit on the night of September 25 was unplanned, leaving the family concerned about her well-being following a sobriety relapse.

“The Richards family had shut her out amid her sobriety relapse,” a source said, adding that Kyle hoped this act of tough love would serve as a wake-up call for her sister.

Kyle was open about her worries, telling officers that the family feared for Kim’s survival if she didn’t get help.

However, according to TMZ, the cops told her that the situation was a civil matter. To have Kim removed, Kyle would need to file an eviction notice.

Kim Richards placed on psychiatric hold after Hilton hotel incident

This wasn’t the first time the sisters found themselves at odds this month.

Earlier in September, authorities were called to a Hilton Hotel where Kim Richards had become incoherent.

Despite officers urging her to leave, Kim refused, leading them to place her on a 5150 psychiatric hold. She was later transported to the hospital by ambulance.

Kim’s struggles with alcohol are well-known and have caused tension with Kyle over the years.

Fans of 'RHOBH' may recall the explosive season 1 finale, where the sisters had a heated confrontation about Kim’s addiction.

Sadly, the years haven’t healed the wounds, and their relationship remains strained.

Kim Richards breaks silence on estrangement from sister Kyle

In 2023, Kim Richards revealed that she hadn’t spoken to Kyle in months, even as her sister's personal life crumbled with her separation from longtime spouse Mauricio Umansky, as per The Blast.

Despite their ongoing rift, the sisters’ complicated dynamic stretches back through the seasons of 'RHOBH', where Kim was a mainstay until season five, and their other sister, Kathy Hilton, joined later.

Kyle has been candid about how filming the reunion specials with her sisters has been emotionally taxing.

Reflecting on the experience, she once said, “The emotions that I was feeling were coming from: 'I've already been down this road with my family before.'"

Even with the drama, Kyle has expressed hope for reconciliation.

She noted that their children and cousins have always helped the sisters come back together, but the rift in 2022 was so deep that even their loved ones couldn’t intervene.

In the end, Kyle’s wishes are reportedly clear -- she hopes to mend fences with her sisters for the sake of their children and nieces.

“Family is family,” she said. But with Kim’s ongoing sobriety struggles, it remains uncertain whether they will find peace anytime soon.
