Kylie Jenner's mystery scar hints at weight-loss procedure, says cosmetic surgery expert

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Kylie Jenner is once again facing plastic surgery rumors, with a Glasgow-based doctor recently suggesting that there's no way her arms could be as thin as they are without a little help.

This unraveled as netizens pointed out a tiny scar on the mother of two's armpit as her 2024 Met Gala photos resurfaced on social media platforms, as per the Daily Mail.

Expert says Kylie Jenner's 'probably had liposuction'

Glasgow-based aesthetics doctor Dr Usman Qureshi shared on his Instagram that Kylie Jenner might have gone for liposuction or BodyTite as he showed her arms from the Met Gala photo.

He explained to his over 12k followers on Instagram, "She claims it's just by pilates. I don't think there's any way Pilates alone can achieve this."

"I think she has probably had liposuction, BodyTite, or a similar procedure," asserted the expert.

As per the aforementioned publication, the charge for a liposuction surgery, which takes out unwanted body fat from the body by inserting a tube under the skin, is between $2,673 and $8,020 in the UK.

However, BodyTite is a bit different as it combines liposuction with radiofrequency-assisted lipolysis (RFAL) to remove fat, tighten skin, and contour the body.

During the procedure, a surgeon makes a small incision and inserts one probe of the minimally invasive device beneath the skin while placing the other on the skin's surface. These probes emit radiofrequency energy that melts fat cells while tightening the surrounding tissues. 

BodyTite is considered less invasive than liposuction and it causes minimal scarring. 

Doctor claims Kylie Jenner might have had 'buccal fat reduction'

This wasn't the first time a doctor questioned Kylie Jenner's appearance.

In 2023, Dr Andrew Peredo, who specializes in aesthetic procedures of the face, speculated that the 27-year-old reality TV star probably had liposuction on her jaw and a buccal fat reduction.

He reportedly said, "This is hard to say because she went from looking young and having some baby weight on her face to now being a woman. She could have done a little bit of buccal fat reduction in the cheeks to help reduce them a bit."

Peredo added, "And she could have had some liposuction on her jaw to give some definition, but it is hard to tell."

Kylie Jenner maintains she has only had lip fillers and breast enhancement

Despite all the rumors and speculations, Kylie Jenner has always maintained that no procedure has been done on her face.

She told the Wall Street Journal last year, "I’ve never touched my face, but just even getting my breasts done when I was 19 and getting pregnant soon after, not obviously planning to be pregnant at 19."

"I probably just should have waited until I maybe had kids or let my body just develop," noted Jenner at the time, before adding, "I had my one lip insecurity thing, so I got lip filler, and it was the best thing I’ve ever done. I don’t regret it."
