Kylie Kelce mourns loss of her beloved dog Baloo: 'Heartbreak is immense'

PHILADELPHIA, PENNSYLVANIA: Kylie Kelce is mourning the loss of a beloved member of her family.
The mother-of-three and wife of former NFL star Jason Kelce announced on Saturday, March 22, that their cherished family dog, an Irish Wolfhound named Baloo, has died.

Kylie Kelce recalls daughter's heartfelt reaction to Baloo's death
When discussing Baloo’s death with her children, Kylie Kelce shared a touching exchange she had with her daughter Ellie.
"When I told the girls that Baloo was going to leave us, Ellie asked where he was going," Kylie, 32, wrote via Instagram on Saturday, March 22.

"I told her that he was going to heaven and without skipping a beat she replied, 'Oh! He’ll get to be with Winnie again! They’ll be so happy to see each other!'" Kylie wrote on Instagram.

Kylie Kelce remembers Baloo as a loving and loyal companion
Reflecting on Baloo’s life, Kylie Kelce described him as "the goofiest, sweetest, most lovable, and tolerant dog I’ve ever met."
She added, "He wanted nothing more than carbs and pets. He was a simple guy, held together by bubble gum and paper clips."

The 'Not Gonna Lie' podcast host, who is currently pregnant with her and Jason’s fourth daughter, expressed the depth of her grief over the loss.
"The heartbreak is immense, but as Ellie so perfectly pointed out, the Winnie-Bubba reunion had to be pure magic. Miss you already Bubbies," Kylie wrote.

Jason and Kylie Kelce had adopted two Irish Wolfhounds before welcoming their first child, Wyatt.

During a February appearance on the 'Call Her Daddy' podcast, as per Us Weekly, Kylie joked about how her firstborn daughter viewed Winnie.
"We were talking about me carrying a baby right now and she was like, 'Well, you had a baby before me,'" Kylie recalled telling podcaster Alex Cooper.
"I was like, 'Excuse me?' She was like, 'Winnie,' because I’ve called Winnie my firstborn child so many times that my oldest daughter thinks that I carried the Irish Wolfhound in my womb."
Kylie had previously shared the news of Winnie’s death via Instagram in March 2024, reflecting on her lifelong love for Irish Wolfhounds.

"When I was in high school, I had a folder on my desktop labeled 'Gods gift to earth.' It was images of Irish Wolfhounds that I had collected from Google. I had fallen in love with the breed when I was young and never let my fascination with them fade," Kylie wrote.
"It all led me to Winnie and holy shit did she live up to the hype. She was everything I had hoped for in a wolfie and more," she added in the post.
