Spencer Pratt says podcaster Alex Cooper on his 'hit list' for not promoting his wife Heidi Montag’s song
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Spencer Pratt is stirring up drama with 'Call Her Daddy' podcaster Alex Cooper! The tension between the two escalated after Cooper refused to promote Heidi Montag's latest song, with Pratt openly expressing his frustrations.
The clash comes as Pratt and Montag are dealing with a personal crisis after their Pacific Palisades home was destroyed in the California wildfires on January 7. The couple has turned to social media, seeking support and funds to recover from the devastating loss.
Spencer Pratt opens up about contacting Alex Cooper to promote his wife's song
During a recent TikTok Live session on Saturday, Spencer Pratt opened up to Bethenny Frankel about his attempts to get ‘Call Her Daddy’ podcaster Alex Cooper to promote his wife Heidi Montag’s song.
Pratt explained, “I asked [Alex] to post the song, and I texted her husband [Matt Kaplan] and I was like, ‘Hey, it would really help.' I kept tagging her, messagin.”
He went on to share Cooper’s response, “She wrote to me, ‘We have a lot of people displaced [from the fires] at our house.’ And I’m like, ‘Post the song, girl.’”
Pratt didn’t hold back in comparing Cooper to her former 'Call Her Daddy' co-host, Sofia Franklyn, who now hosts the 'Sofia with an F' podcast.
“Now I ride with Sofia with an F, that’s my team now,” he said, noting that Franklyn had no hesitation in posting Montag’s song and even danced to it.
Pratt expressed his frustration with Cooper’s refusal to support Montag’s music, claiming she was the “only one” who didn’t back it. He added, "Respectfully, if I keep my platform, and I keep being an A-list, rich celebrity, she’s so [f**cked]. Cause I have beef with her now. She’s going to be targeted."
Concluding his rant, he stated that Cooper was now at the top of his "hit list."
Spencer Pratt hits back at criticism over his substantial donations
Spencer Pratt previously revealed that he earned thousands of dollars on TikTok, thanks to support from stars like Emily Ratajkowski and Flavor Flav, which helped his wife Heidi Montag reach No 1 on the iTunes charts, as per PageSix.
Speaking to Variety on Saturday, Pratt shared, “I made, like, $4,000 on TikTok this week, but on TikTok Live, where people can just give to me direct, I think [I made] maybe $20,000.”
He added, “So that’s phenomenal and life-changing. That’s the power of individual supporters, people just backing you and getting behind you.”
Pratt also responded to critics who questioned their substantial donations, saying, “There’s nobody with a brain [who] thinks we’re rich celebrities. It’s like these are just hater people trolling.”
He continued, “The people [who] are supporting us and have been following our lifestyle on social media, they see we’re not rich celebrities. They see what we do every day.”
Pratt expressed his frustration, adding, “Nobody thought we were rich celebrities until three days ago and it’s getting frustrating. Like if you Google ‘Spencer,’ it literally [says] ‘Broke, no net worth.’”
