Lady Gaga and fiance Michael Polansky reportedly welcome their first child

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Lady Gaga is reportedly a mother now. She welcomed her first child with fiance Michael Polansky.

Though the 40-year-old star, who got engaged to the 42-year-old entrepreneur in March 2024, has not shared any official statement yet, Page Six confirmed the news.

The publication also noted that details about the child's name, sex, and date of birth are unknown.

Lady Gaga and Polansky were recently reportedly seen out for a stroll for the first time in Northern California.

The singer, whose real name is Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta, was last seen almost a month ago when she posed for a selfie with a fan in Northern California. Before that, she attended an event at The Grove in Los Angeles in May after completing her tour, The Mayhem Ball, in April.

Michael Polansky became Lady Gaga's 'safe space'

After her nine-month-long tour ended, an insider had said, “She hasn’t really gotten to have a private life since she was like 22 … she’s been laying low since the tour ended.”

The source also mentioned her bond with Polansky, adding, “They have an amazing biodome of love. Seems like a really safe place for her.”

Lady Gaga previously said she was 'excited to be a mom'

The pop icon and her fiance began dating in 2019 before their 2024 engagement. Then, in 2025, the Grammy winner revealed her plans for motherhood.

Speaking with the New York Times, she shared, “I’m excited to be a mom. I used to have a lot of apprehension about it. The thing that’s the most important to me is to not force my children to live a life that they are not choosing. So the more that we can give them space to discover who they are on their own, that’s the thing that I believe in the most.”

The ‘Bad Romance’ hitmaker, however, also talked about the internal war she faces because of her public life.

“I’m also kind of at war with myself sometimes as I get ready to, hopefully, become a mom soon. Like, today is wonderful, but the whole day has revolved around me. There’s an incredible amount of narcissism in this. How do I live a life where I’m passionate about my art while also making more space for other things?” Lady Gaga had added.

Also, during her appearance on ‘The Stephen Colbert Show’ in October last year, the songwriter divulged, “I would like to do many things. All of these things are open. But, what I really want is to be a mom. That’s my next starring role, I hope.”
