LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Singer Lady Gaga and her longtime partner Michael Polansky are officially engaged and the couple is busy organizing their wedding.

However, Gaga and her fiance Polansky, who have been discreetly engaged for months, are currently negotiating the terms of a prenuptial agreement before getting married.

According to reports, the famous pair has initiated a $900 million prenuptial agreement to relieve any financial strain while they proceed with their wedding preparations.

Lady Gaga and Michael Polansky safeguarding financial assets with prenup

The 13-time Grammy-winning singer revealed casually during the Paris Olympics that she was engaged to Michael Polansky. However, sources revealed that the 38-year-old singer had been secretly engaged for "several months."

The New York-based songstress, born Stefani Germanotta, and the tech entrepreneur have reportedly been secretly engaged for some time now and are on the same page over the prenuptial agreement.

The A-list pair has chosen to work out the details of their prenuptial agreement before saying "I do" in front of loved ones.

Sources claimed that a prenuptial agreement is required because of Gaga's alleged net worth of $900 million. Fortunately, Polansky has shown no resistance and agrees with the singer's views.

Gaga "is worth $900 million, so of course there needs to be a prenup in place and Michael understands that. He’s not resisting it," a source revealed to InTouch Weekly.

The popstar's 46-year-old fiance, who serves as the Parker Foundation's executive director, is likewise extremely wealthy—worth a whopping $600 million.

A source close to the couple revealed that "there are a lot of assets on both sides, and a prenup will just make everything clear."

"It hasn’t created any tension between them — it’s actually made everything easier. They can’t wait to get married," the tipster stated.

Lady Gaga and Michael Polansky planning a destination wedding in Europe

The 'Applause' singer was captured on July 28 talking with French Prime Minister Gabriel Attal about her opening ceremony performance at the 2024 Paris Olympics, referring to Michael Polansky as her "fiance" in a TikTok video.

A different source claimed that the couple already hosted an engagement celebration in California and is now considering saying "yes" in a European ceremony.

"Gaga and Michael are the happiest they’ve ever been. Michael has always known Gaga was the one. They had an engagement party at her home in Malibu with their loved ones and everyone is thrilled for them," the insider revealed to Entertainment Tonight.

The source added, "They are already thinking about wedding plans and talking about possibly having a destination wedding in Europe. They'd love to get married sooner than later and both want to start a family."

The two have actually "been engaged since the spring," a source revealed shortly after fans noticed Gaga's "fiance" reference.

This makes sense given that in April, the 'Poker Face' singer was first spotted sporting a massive diamond ring on her ring finger in West Hollywood.

According to a source who spoke to People, "The couple shared the happy news with family and close friends right away but wanted to keep the engagement private otherwise. Everyone’s excited about them getting married."
