LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Lady Gaga might have revealed her engagement with Michael Polansky recently but they got engaged "several months" ago.
The 13-time Grammy-winning singer casually announced her engagement to Polansky during the Paris Olympics. However, sources close to the couple revealed they had been engaged for “several months”, with the 38-year-old songstress keeping the news secret.

Recently, sources close to the 'Bad Romance' singer shared with People that following her engagement, Lady Gaga - born Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta - kept the news secret from her fans.
She had, however, previously shared the news with her close friends. The source revealed that when she celebrated her 38th birthday back in March at an intimate dinner party with friends, she was already engaged.
Nevertheless, she did not flaunt her engagement ring to the party to avoid being photographed with it.
The insider revealed, "The couple shared the happy news with family and close friends right away, but wanted to keep the engagement private otherwise.”
The tipster added that the couple is also planning their wedding soon, to the delight of their friends and family.
"Everyone’s excited about them getting married," the source added while noting the ‘A Star is Born’ actress has been "the happiest with Michael."
The insider continued, "They’re great together. He’s excited and supportive of her career. He can’t stand being in the spotlight, but lets her shine. He has his own business priorities that she’s supportive of.”
To the delight of Gaga’s fans, the insider shared that the couple is also planning for the future, citing, "They both would love to have a family."

The ‘Poker Face’ singer and her businessman boyfriend were first linked together when they were spotted kissing at a New Year's Eve party in Las Vegas in 2020.
They revealed their relationship to the public just after a month during a PDA-filled weekend in Miami for the 2020 Super Bowl.
