Lady Gaga fans go wild over her Coachella performance with 'satanic rituals': 'Greatest set of all time'

INDIO, CALIFORNIA: Lady Gaga returned to the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival on Friday, April 11, delivering a highly theatrical headlining set that stunned fans.
The show, held in Indio, California, marked her second time topping the festival's lineup following her 2017 performance.
Unlike 2017, when she replaced Beyonce due to pregnancy, this year’s show was entirely Gaga’s vision. As she called it, "manifesto of mayhem."

Lady Gaga turns Coachella into theatrical fever dream
With her new album 'Mayhem' released, Lady Gaga brought intentional flair and dramatic storytelling to the main stage.
Ahead of her performance, she told The New York Times last month, “I’m getting ready for Coachella, and I’m so, so excited, but I’ve definitely lost sleep a whole bunch of nights, and it’s because I want to do a great job.”
She added, “If there’s a time and a date where you can make the public smile, from 11 pm to 1 in the morning on this day, I want to make it happen.”
Back on Friday night, Gaga opened her 90-minute set with 'Bloody Mary' from her 2011 album 'Born This Way', setting the tone for a bold and balanced journey through old favorites and newer tracks.

The show was divided into four acts and described by the singer as an "opera house in the desert," as per Daily Mail.

Lady Gaga brings back fan favorites
Among the songs she performed were 'Abracadabra', 'Judas', and 'Scheiße'.
The stage transformed into a massive chess board for 'Poker Face', featuring a choreographed dance battle, with Gaga leading her group to victory.
Fans also heard the megahits 'Paparazzi' and 'Bad Romance', which added to the energy of the night.

Billboard described the two-hour show as “nothing short of a carefully crafted commentary on fame and performance.”
It added, “The entire performance felt like a living, breathing entity — in large part because Gaga wore a headset, which captured each and every controlled breath she took.”
The review noted, “But also because of the storyline, which across its five acts revisited various Lady Gagas of the past — all of whom, as the show proved, are still very much alive in Gaga despite being dormant. Or, in the case of this performance, despite being left for dead.”
