Lady Gaga sparks pregnancy rumors as she's spotted with baby bump at sister's wedding

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta aka Lady Gaga, is again in the spotlight amid renewed pregnancy rumors. 

These speculations arose after she was spotted wearing a black form-fitting dress on Friday evening, May 31st, as per DailyMail.

The 38-year-old singer appeared to display a baby "bump" and a sizable diamond ring during the rehearsal dinner for her sister Natali Germanotta's wedding in York, Maine.

In recent months, Lady Gaga has maintained a low profile following the completion of filming for her upcoming movie 'Joker: Folie à Deux' and while working on a new album.

Her only recent public appearance was at the premiere of her HBO concert film 'Gaga Chromatica Ball,' where she wore an outfit incorporating a car part to seemingly conceal her abdomen.

Photos from her sister's wedding show the 'Bad Romance' singer glowing alongside her boyfriend, Michael Polansky, 46. 

She wore a tight-fitting, off-shoulder little black dress that highlighted her figure. She completed her look with matching pumps and a pearl necklace.

At one point, the day before her sister's nuptials, she appeared emotional and was seen wiping away tears.

Internet says that Lady Gaga ‘is wearing a car bumper’

Many internet users have flocked to the comments section to share their opinions after hearing rumors that Gaga might be pregnant, sparked by her appearance in a fitted black dress.

One user commented, "She looks like she is wearing a car bumper," as per DailyMail. 

Another said, "Tbh both she and her boyfriend have gained weight. Maybe a baby, maybe not."

A third wrote, "I hope youre having a baby and are happy with your handsome intelligent stable partner!  You are awesome "

A fourth claimed, "How can you see a bump in that mess of a costume.  I can't call it a dress."

Lady Gaga expresses desire to ‘have children’ 

In March 2021, reports indicated that Gaga's relationship with Michael Polansky was becoming serious, and she had expressed a desire to start a family with him. 

A source said, “She has been telling her friends that she wants to get through a few projects and then focus on settling down. Gaga wants to have children one day and sees a future with Michael" the source said.

The superstar has also previously spoken about her wish to become a mother. In her May 2020 cover story with InStyle, Gaga shared her excitement about having kids. 

"I look forward to being a mom," she said. "'Isn't it incredible what we can do? We can hold a human inside and grow it. Then it comes out, and it's our job to keep it alive."
