Lauren Sanchez recreates famous 'flirting' meme with Leonardo DiCaprio and Jeff Bezos at glitzy NYE party

ST BARTHS, CARIBBEAN: Lauren Sanchez, 55, appeared to recreate her famous "flirting" meme while interacting with her fiance Jeff Bezos, 60, and close friend Leonardo DiCaprio, 50, at a lavish NYE party on Tuesday, December 31.

A video of the former journalist "thirsting" over the Oscar winner at a banquet with Bezos standing next to her was posted on X (formerly Twitter) in 2021.

In the clip, Sanchez was seen grinning broadly as she looked up at DiCaprio, which led the Amazon CEO to issue a lighthearted caution to the Hollywood star, per Daily Mail.

Following the iconic flirting incident, Bezos posted a picture of himself in 2021, standing next to a notice that said, "Danger! Steep cliff, fatal drop!" and the caption read, "Leo, come over here, I want to show you something..."

Three years later, the trio was seen together once more in a similar pose as they rang in 2025 together at St Barth's in the Caribbean.

Bezos was seen standing between Sanchez and Dicaprio as they stood outside, with Sanchez gazing up at the Hollywood star. The 'Titanic' star, however, put a hand on Bezos's shoulder as they laughed together, suggesting that the trio was having a pleasant talk.

Sanchez wore a tight minidress that hugged her body and ended only inches above her knees as part of her outfit for the event. Bezos dressed casually for the special New Year's Eve festivities, wearing black pants and a patterned shirt.

The former journalist wore her long, dark hair down beyond her shoulders with ease, parted in the middle. In keeping with her outfit's color concept, she accessorized her big night outfit with nude shoes.

The 'Wolf Of Wall Street' star wore an all-black outfit consisting of black pants, a black button, and a black cap. His girlfriend Vittoria Ceretti was also spotted among them at one point, wearing a halter-styled, black dress.

Sanchez and Bezos, who got engaged in May 2023, were spotted kissing after DiCaprio returned to the celebration.

Jeff Bezos and Leonardo DiCaprio have been friends for years

Longtime pals Bezos and DiCaprio have been spotted together on several occasions, including a summer vacation to Sardinia in August 2024.

Earlier on New Year's Eve, Sanchez and her ex-boyfriend Tony Gonzalez were spotted lounging on Bezos's $500 million yacht.

Bezos was not spotted aboard the boat at the time, but he subsequently joined DiCaprio, Ceretti, and his future wife for the New Year's festivities.

The star-studded group began the evening with a meal at the Eden Rock Hotel before watching midnight fireworks. Following that, they went to the Gyp Sea Beach Club in St. Barth's for a late-night party, where Swedish House Mafia famously performed for the attendees.

But the fun didn't stop there. The group departed the beach around three in the morning and stopped by an after-party that tycoon Richie Akiva was hosting.

Later, they were spotted leaving the party at around seven in the morning and returning to a yacht to relax.

Lauren Sanchez and Jeff Bezos were first romantically linked in 2019

The former journalist and the Amazon CEO fell in love in 2019 and got engaged in May 2023. In an interview with Today in late November 2024, Sanchez talked briefly about their wedding plans.

Sanchez said in the interview, "Very excited about it, thinking about the dress. I have to say, I do have a Pinterest. I'm just like every other bride."

"I never thought at 54 - I'm going to be 55 - that I'd be an author, that I'd be getting married. I mean, life is just beginning," she exclaimed.

The Amazon CEO proposed to Sanchez in May 2023 on his opulent yacht with a $2.5 million ring after dating for about five years. Following her acceptance, the couple jetted off to Italy for an engagement celebration.

Previously, there were rumors that Sanchez and Bezos were planning to get married in an Aspen ceremony that would cost $600 million.

However, Bezos denounced the rumors on X, posting, "This whole thing is completely false - none of this is happening. The old adage 'don't believe everything you read' is even more true today than it ever has been."

"Now lies can get ALL the way around the world before the truth can get its pants on. So be careful out there folks and don't be gullible," he added.

"Will be interesting to see if all the outlets that "covered" and re-reported on this issue a correction when it comes and goes and doesn't happen."
